Great location...easy walk from cottage to the center of Grassington with it's shops, pubs, visitors center & sites...walk in the other direction & you are minutes away from walks on the Dales with scenic vistas & idyllic beauty. Host provided lots of info at cottage about walks and sites to see. We loved our time here. Highly recommend!」

A special shout out to the hosts, during our stay sadly my sister died back at home and the care , compassion and help that the hosts showed I will remember for ever. 「A really comfortable and charming property. Very clean with a well equipped kitchen. The bed was also good (even for me with a bad back). The location is superb - in a quiet valley, an easy walk to Bolton castle and just a stroll to Aysgarth waterfalls. As a map will show, really close to Wensley and Leyburn with nice pubs. Juliet and David were very friendly hosts (as were the sheep).」

「We had an amazing stay in this beautiful cottage.The highlights are the peace and quiet and the amazing views, as well as the comforts of the cottage itself. Lots of farm animals to watch, which we enjoyed. The kitchen is very well equipped and everything is very clean.The double bed is super comfy and the whole cottage is cool when needed (as some of our weather was very hot!) but also warm when required (as it also turned cold and rainy!)Ample parking at the front and a nice little patio space...

「This is a lovely cottage in the middle of Grassington. Parking is a bit tight but manageable. The cottage is lovely, beds and sofas are comfortable. TV is excellent with an on demand selection. It was a bonus to have a secluded garden. Perfect for when the sun is out. It was clean (with the exception of a few cobwebs on the wall) and felt very homely. It was a quiet and peaceful place to stay and we would happily return.」

「We had a great stay in this property. It is clean, well equipped and in a really handy location with the train station close by and a nice couple of wee pubs up the road. the house itself has a modern kitchen and main bathroom as well as another bathroom on the top ( 3rd Floor ). Bedrooms have good space and are clean and well maintained. It is an older terraced property over three floors and with the bedrooms and bathrooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor, it might not suit those with mobility issues,...

「We had a wonderful time. The cottage was very comfortable, peaceful, and relaxing with a lovely garden and amazing views out the back. It's in a beautiful location with easy access to explore the dales. There are many great restaurants and pubs relatively close by. Phillip was a great host, very responsive and helpful with all inquiries. would highly recommend.」

「This was our 2nd stay in Carr House. It’s a great home with fantastic outside space. We love Kirkby Lonsdale and visit at least once a year. We have stayed in many properties all of which have been lovely in their own way. Carr House is our favourite though. Great experience from communication with Clare and ease of check in and check out. We hope to return again! 」
