"More a self catering flat than an hotel however We were happy with it. It is in the suburbs of St Helens a distance from the town centre. St Helens Junction train station is about 5 mins walk, and a good little cafe for breakfast less than 2 mins walk. The area was quiet at night and there are a couple of local shops equally close for such things as milk for drinks.We used it as a base to explore the area hence we only used the kettle and the wifi. Would be happy to use again."

"The property was clean but a bit worn and aged. Both bathrooms were nice. No tea towels and could do with more kitchen equipment. No welcome pack with information for tourist such as recommendations for food or attractions and how far these things are from flat. Just some things that might be helpful for future guests. "

"Ideal location within walking distance of the city centre, and near to supermarkets. My room was en-suite (unusual for student rooms). The person on the reception made me very welcome. Use of a kitchen: fridge, kettle, microwave, etc. was very welcome, as was the tea, coffee, milk provided."
