“My expectations were low. It’s like going to a movie you think will be a stinker and it actually turns out to be good. This place was so much fun. It’s near 200-years old and you can tell in a few places. The floors are horribly out of level. They are like a rolling hill and from max to min, I would guess 18inches. But when you realize you are staying in a hotel that four Presidents including Grant slept in, those crazy floors just make it real. It was clean, comfortable. The staff was very……

“Stonybrook is a classic roadside motel. I'm not sure how long it's been around, but it's in decent shape. Sure, it could use some paint and a refresh on furnishings, but I found it clean and comfortable enough in a quiet and attractive setting. The only disappointment was the breakfast, which was pretty lame. The coffee was terrible. Still, I'd return.”

Enjoyed walking around the property and playing some of the outdoor games. Definitely will be back.”
