“Wonderful old building, thoughtfully extended. Extremely comfortable bed. Lovely friendly staff and a great breakfast. The pinnacle was the complimentary whisky in the lounge! What is not to like?”

“Our room was just lovely! We had the cutest two twin beds room up on the second floor. The views were so nice from the windows. The shower was the best we’d had in Scotland. The breakfast was amazing! Seriously, the black pudding and haggis options were great. Our host, Greg, took care of everything for us. We will come back and stay again.”

“What a wonderful hotel. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff couldn't do enough for you. The bar downstairs was perfect to sit and relax after a day of sightseeing. Our evening meal in the restaurant was delicious. Will definitely be back. 10/10”

“Our room was exceptionally clean and attractive. The modern bathroom had both a bath and walk in shower. The dinners were excellent and used local produce. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. Staff were friendly and very attentive.”

“The hotel doesn’t have an elevator. I stayed on the first floor. Actually, there is a corridor between the first floor and the carpark with a few steps only. However, the receptionist didn’t told me about that. She simply told me to carry the luggages through the normal entrance and go up one floor “ONLY” . No help had been offered and she clearly knew I got a car. Nowadays, it is not usual asking the lady customers to carry the luggages going upstairs ”

“The breakfast was full Scottish with cereal loads of tea and coffee and different juices set you up for the day , room was clean with a hairdryer, tea & coffee and TV. Staff were friendly.”

“Booked an executive double room which was very spacious and had a large bath too. A bit dated overall but clean and we had a lovely overnight stay. Dinner and breakfast were both good quality with gluten free options. I enjoyed using the pool and sauna (pre book) however disappointed the hot tub snd steam room were not in operation. Also, the spa was closed both Sunday and Monday. Hotel is set in extensive grounds and is a 15 minute walk into Aberfoyle. Plenty EV charging points at the hotel.……
