Great little cottage, clean and comfortable.

Great little cottage, clean and comfortable. Everything there that was needed. Bonus was no WiFi or mobile phone signal so it meant complete peace!  Only negative was there is no off road parking, I was a little worried about our car sitting at the side of the road. Bathroom a little tight ,especially if you’re a big lad -the shower cubicle is a bit of a squeeze!!  Tiny negatives , on the whole it was fantastic and would definitely look to stay there again. Guess who visited the garden?

A wonderful property in an outstanding location. Spacious rooms, superbly equipped, cosy and comfortable. It was a joy to return 'home' after a day exploring the area. And who visited the garden one night? A pine marten!

Great location.

Great location. Close to many fascinating archaeological sites and lovely places to visit.The entrance hall was a bit dark and could have done with being painted a lighter colour and not left the original dark brown. The kitchen and bathroom were somewhat challenging in terms of space. Not a problem as there were only two of us but four would have been interesting. However the cottage was cosy and its shortcomings were more than made up for by the location.
