“The hotel was fine. We stayed on a Sunday night because we went to a concert at the State Fair in Springfield. It was very slow checking in about 4:30 - check-in started at 4. There was quite a few people in front of me and rooms weren’t ready. I eventually got a room, about 45 min wait. I think it was busier than normal b/c of the fair and concert. Although it was frustrating, I would probably stay there again. The price was good and the room was clean.”

“While they have no control over the major lightning storm that took place while we were there, they did provide a safe and cozy environment for us to watch the light storm as it boomed and lite up the sky overhead. We were able to open the hidden bookshelves and watch the light show from the store front window. The only advice I would give is come with an umbrella or rain coat for unexpected weather and a portable fan as it is humid and hot outside and in the loft in the summer.”
