A pleasant one-night stay at this hotel, booked last minute (night before) so it was pricey however we were upgraded to an Art Plus room. Kelvin assisted with our check in - he was very friendly, as were the doormen and Jasion at check out (sorry if I got the spelling wrong).
We primarily picked this hotel as it was in close proximation Lister hospital as I was having a procedure, but also they are a dog friendly establishment.
The hotel itself is clean and I really liked the art vibe and proximity to Battersea Power Station with shopping and food nearby makes it a great choice if you need to be in the area. The hotel also has quite a few amenities including a rooftop pool, sauna, jacuzzi and gym.
Our room was spacious and clean with Kevin Murphy (Australian brand) toiletries. The bedding was comfortable and the area is quiet so ideally for a good night sleep.
A couple of minor points for improvement:
- We booked our room through hotels.com and on there it stated pets stay free (dogs and cats) however upon check in we were charged £20 which was meant to cover pet amenities like dog bed, bowls, treats and a small donation to Battersea Dogs & Cats shelter, however our room didn't have any of those amenities. At check out I raised this and luckily there was no fuss in refunding it because of the misleading advertising and also for not providing anything for our dog.
- The lifts were quite difficult to operate and also in the morning of our departure one was working
