If you require parking this is not the venue to stay at, even though they mention that parking is available on site, it is run by a separate company. We were forced to pay £70 per day.

The building and staff were excellent . However the studio we had had not been properly cleaned . It kept having electrical faults . Also it should be made clear on the advertising it is a couch that converts into bed with a not comfortable mattress. It is a lovely area to stay in however

The check out date was wrong. It took for ever to correct. The room was far too small and had no facilities, as expected. The air conditioning was not working and was never fixed. A simple electric fan was provided. Totally unacceptable. In 7 days never cleaned the room, collect garbage nor change towels. The room was in a basement, with a tiny window facing the street. The description of the room did not match what I had expected. The only positive thing is the location. I did not enjoy my stay at all. Office personnel were not attentive and could not care less about my concerns.

The property was overpriced for what it offered. They charge to use bedding on the pull out couch and the first night there was no one to even give us the bedding! The toilet didn’t flush properly. The knob in the shower came off. We requested maintenance for those items and were told they would come that day. No one ever did. There was no liquid dish soap. Very poor accommodations for the price. I would not recommend staying there.

For the most part we really enjoyed our stay here. When we arrived at it after an overnight flight around 9 AM we discovered that the hotel was overbooked. They were very prompt about getting an agent to work with us to resolve the issue. We had come over for the Queen‘s funeral so headed straight to the queue for the lying in state and by 3 PM that afternoon they had texted us to let us know They sorted out the problem and our efficiency Apt was ready. The room was well fitted out and had everything we needed except it turns out a working television set which we didn’t know until the next day. After standing in line for 14 hours we slept and slept and slept. But then when we tried to turn the TV on we could get nothing. The front desk was totally unable to help us and because of the bank holiday we ended up not having access to the coverage of the queens funeral weekend. We tried everything we could but couldn’t get the TV to work. Fortunately I did have my laptop. This was a huge disappointment. Other than that the flat was great And the location convenient.

Confusing that they have two separate offices …not connected to each other….when you had a question. My problem was dealt with quickly and efficiently by Charlie from maintenance. Entrance completely covered by hoarding because of building work which caused some problems because Uber and taxis could not find the place! A large sign saying it was NELL GWYNN HOUSE would be easy and helpful.

s - Fantastic location. - Pods are small but all that one needs as a place to crash. -s - Beware: Expedia falsely advertises the pods as having a kitchen, dining area, etc. even though they do *not* - an expensive detail, if planning on cooking! -, and even though the property has asked them to change the description. - Beware: Expedia, unlike other booking sites, gives no indication that the pods are in the basement. - Lack of hot water in shower - Mini-fridge doesn't get sufficiently cold - Pods are not "soundproof rooms" as overall property description states; in fact, the building's adjacent back entrance buzzer ringing all night, especially on weekends, is easily audible

Worst hotel stay
Room 69 - every time you go in the toilet it makes a large garbage disposal noise which isn’t pleasant when you’re sitting on the toilet, the bed is the most uncomfortable nights sleep myself and my partner have ever had, the air con does not keep the room at a manageable temperature as it has stayed absolutely boiling which is not ideal in a box room, there is cream in a mini fridge that doesn’t work properly as is room temperature and finally the shower when you turn it on smells of egg.. again neither myself or my partner can shower either because of this. Worst hotel stay we have EVER had. Definitely not worth the money.

Location is great to access attraction and many way to go, many tube line from South Kensington or Sloane square. Apartment is new and well function of all kitchenett.

Beware.
Quite a disappointing experience. Don't get fooled by the shining pictures of the studio interiors as this is too far from reality. For the money o room in a f 4-star well-located hotel you'd get barely a 3-star sort of ibis-like relatively poor room. The crew down in the lobby can't help anyhow and you should reach out to the Manager who only comes next day.... Shame.

Very good and spacious room with large windows Nell Gwynn House is located very close to South Kensington, a very short and pleasant walk to the V&A and the Natural History Museum Also very close to the Kings Road in the heart of Chelsea All in all a very good choice.

Studios in Chelsea
Very convenient location in Chelsea as we were visiting the Chelsea Flower Show. Studio apartment with tiny bedroom but plenty of space overall with full kitchen. Free overnight parking on local streets 6:30pm - 8:30am

On arrival I was allocated a room & on entry was shocked at the overwhelming g smell of cigarettes in this SMOKE FREE complex that had ash trays in the rooms a little leaflet explaining that you may be an additional charged if you smoke heavy. This complex is advertised as a smoke free building, I asked for another room and was given the keys to what can only be discribed as a cupboard with a bed in it, I asked for another room as well had booked a one bedroom apartment & this was too small for three peolple but was told by a very unhelpfulll / not interested head porter that there were no more rooms. After calling Expedia & sitting with bags in foyer for a while a room was suddenly available,again it was very small & uncomfortably warm , I would not stay here again.

Quite hotel to stay at
Great place. We were lucky it was not so crowded that we were serviced every day rather than weekly. In general this place was the best amongst all places I have stayed at in London. For sure I will be back here again.

Affordable stay - Good location
-Well located in South Kensington, 10-15 mins walk to the Underground (groceries and starbucks across the street) - Pods room are in a basement - Moldy smell from the basement location - Mattress is ok, you can hear the spring bust - you still sleep well if tired - very noisy from the street at all time - some signs of tear - paint missing, water damages, etc. - AC and heating are good - TV with cable is good - WIFI is slow and unreliable Overall, I enjoyed my stary for the price I paid. There is not many more hotels that can you offer something similar for that price and location. If you book a place to sleep, in and out, go for it. If you are looking to spend time in the room a lot, you might want to find something else. I would book this hotel again given the amazing location and price.

I like this hotel
I had staye in this place before so I know the porters and the facility. The porters are really friendly. The room cleaning is not up to what you can expect when you stay at a normal hotel but for me it hardly matters.

Overall experience was ok, the room was comfortable for a family of 4 and centrally located for quick access to our points of interest. The lower rating was due to the bathroom shower not having cold water and not being able to change rooms Or have the problem quickly addressed. Booking through Expedia added another layer to the actual owner of the flat. Also Expedia is slow to provide a follow up an never did send a response after my call. Perhaps I'll get one When i return from my vacation. Which of course is. Not helpful.

Since every apartment is individually owned and furnished, please note that this review refers only to #336. The apartment was adequately furnished and all was in working order. The mattress could well be replaced as it is getting lumpy.

The one bedroom has good light, roomy, had daily maid service (except the weekend) and complete with dishwasher, washer and dryer. The management and concierge were friendly and helpful. The only three downsides are the never ending traffic noise, no blackout curtain nor air conditioning (when it was 30+C). The two fans provided did its bit. I'm sure the heating should be ample in the winter.
