The apartment was nicely decorated and very clean. And location was fantastic. Very close to Elephant & Castle train and bus stations which made getting around very easy. The step in the bathroom needs to be noted if you are someone with balance or mobility issues as could easily be a falls risk. And the other thing to note is the noise. It is right on a main road that has a significant amount of traffic and sirens ALL night. And you can hear people talking, as they walk past, like they are in the room with you.

Check in was so easy — the host sent us a very clear set of instructions and we found it with no issue! Large bathroom, good kitchen, we liked how the space was laid out. WiFi worked. Close to transport but also was so loud outside the main windows all night. Even with a white noise machine I brought along and curtains closed, I could hear people, traffic (sirens went by multiple times at late hours), etc as if the outside wall was paper thin. Really liked it aside from this and it worked for one night, but would not recommend for light sleepers as you will be kept awake! I know this is no fault of the host, but mentioning this in the listing would have been nice.

We read the reviews and description, so we knew what we were getting, so we were happy. Is not a peaceful luxury retreat, it is a cost effective comfortbale studio in zone 1, street noise didn't bother us. An improved shower would be the only main fix I would suggest.
