It is great bring able to have a room in the very heart of London center, so close to Covent Garden Opera. All you need is on walking distance ! Seeing some of the bad reviews, I nearly cancelled my booking. That would have been a mistake! While there are some rough edges, I'm so glad I stayed here! The location is PERFECT, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the room had all the basics. True - there is no lift and the stairs are narrow... but I think that's fairly standard for London! There are some things that could use an update - but I found things clean and comfortable. I'm glad I stayed here - and I would definitely go back!

While the online reviews and photos are high, our room was clearly one that was not remodeled. It was decent yet had a poor old bathroom floor that was peeling and dirty and grossed me out.
