The staff were friendly and attentive. Ok so the room had signs of wear but I was expecting that but overall clean and well kept, the bed linen was clean and the bathroom was well kept, I would recommend this little gem of a place and I look to return in future

Room was clean and facilities good. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was cooked. I would have preferred some continental breakfast options ie cereal etc. We booked the hotel because of the parking and it was available. Only issue being the car park is not clearly signed and we drove past it on a very busy road which made our arrival rather stressful. Better signage would be helpful.

We arrived at the hotel early so left our case with the staff as we were going to our daughter’s birthday party. Arrived back at the hotel at about 9.30p.m to be taken to our room. I was shocked it was the smallest room and as I’d paid £232 plus £50 deposit for the largest room. When we went down to breakfast the next morning I spoke to a lady there and she said that the rooms had got mixed up. Then we were informed that the kitchen was closed for breakfast as they were waiting for an engineer!!

Had a decent cooked breakfast; disappointed to find out after check out that our deposit was refunded less a charge for £4 , which we assume was for the orange juice we asked for at (the pre booked) breakfast!!!

Good value and well maintained

Really friendly reception when we arrived. Room was well maintained very clean. No noise from the pub which was great but the hotel is on a main junction and could do with some extra sound proofing on the windows.

It is in a very convenient place and transport is in abundance and also there is a safe and secure parking. The staff is very helpful and very friendly. The meals are very nice and nice portions. The rooms are very clean but the steps are too many and difficult to maneuver with luggage. On the whole it is a very nice hotel and I wish I had a long time to stay!

Good hotel with a lovely room

Very comfortable room and the bed in particular was fantastic. There was aircon on a warm evening but no window that ooened. I ate in the resand it was very good. The young staff were very friendly and helpful .

Convenient for rail and services and they also have a carpark. The pub downstairs has a great selection for beers and the food is good. The decor in my room was tired though and could do with upgrading. The mattress on my bed was very uncomfortable.

A South London trip.

A two night stay with family members. Traditional London pub which served very tasty food. Not all of the items on the menu or drinks in the bar were available. The rooms were clean but not spacious and situated on the side of the noisy south circular road. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

It’s ok

It was ok, wasn’t bad, but wasn’t a place I would rave about. I chose it because it had parking (a rarity in London) and because of that it was easier to overlook the revamp that the hotel seriously needs. The staff were very friendly, but obviously overworked and understaffed so service was very slow. We were only there one night for a concert, so it wasn’t a big deal - however I would of been upset if I was there for longer.

Good place to stay while visiting.

Brilliant service from start to finish. Booked for my niece and her partner. The duty manager, Zain, was spot-on. Room was clean and had all the traditional room amenities included. Although the room faced a busy street, the double glazing worked to reduce the traffic noise. They informed me they would stay again. Public transport and taxis were readily available in the area.
