「We’re really going to miss this fabulous apartment in magical Boothbay Harbor. It’s very nicely appointed, and so comfortable and peaceful. Do not shy away from the property because it is below the owners’ vacation home. It’s super-well insulated and you wouldn’t know anyone was living above you. Even more important, having the owners there was a bonus. They went out of their way to help us have a fabulous holiday. Having the dock and the kayaks were also big pluses. We’ll definitely be back!」

「The cottage was great but the check-in was very stressful. Owner did not send email with info until Saturday morning and it went to my Spam folder. No one was on site when I first got there but someone working in the garden got hold of the owner and let me in. Website says check-in was after 3PM but owner said it was 5PM. Needs to update that on website. After a10-hour drive I was not happy.」

「We absolutely loved our stay here! The location near the beach is perfect; what a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Of all the places we stayed on our trip this one felt the most like Maine. 「Spacious cottage (in a resort full of cottages) nicely located to visit Boothbay Harbor, Wiscasset and a day trip to the Portland coast. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc to make it easy to cook. Large table for family game nights. Great beds! The front porch and lawn were better for hanging outside. The back patio area is small and needs cleanup but we did not need it. 」

House was VERY clean; a few housekeeping “issues” were identified and relayed to Jeffrey who was quick to respond.
