Truly wonderful property with so much to take in! Claude is the most welcoming and helpful host, very kind. The beds were super comfy and everybody had their own space. A quality villa with a difference

Fantastic weeks stay at the Villa that gives you everything and more. Stunning location and near to all the necessary amenities with Vilamoura marina only a 20 minute walk away and Quarteira centre a similar distance. Best Family Holiday we’ve ever had

Wow amazing Villa

We had a lovely time staying in this Villa there were 7 people and we all had plenty of room We needed a later checkout that Claude sorted for us without hesitation he was at the end of the phone for any enquiries we had however to be fair because everything was so good we didn’t need to contact him. We’ll certainly be looking at going back again and would definitely recommend this Villa for families to going with friends the location is just perfect Uber rides everywhere and very good prices or walking distance to the marina beaches and supermarket’s

Absolutely fabulous villa

Claude and Marie have an exquisite villa in a beautiful location in Vilamoura. The pictures in the listing truly represent the magnificence of the villa. The tropical garden is just beautiful and the black pool fits the scene perfectly. The surrounding neighbourhood is a very nice residential area, very peaceful. The whole family loved it. It was nice that there were essentials in the kitchen with water wine and beer too. A truly wonderful holiday.

The Most Wonderful Time!!

This villa is just SUPERB!! Claude and his partner are just a wonderful, charming, warm and caring couple. They provided all the information we asked for prior to our stay, and then welcomed us warmly to their amazing villa. The photos do not do this place justice. It is quirky, jolly, and beautiful. The whole place is immaculate and there is is literally EVERYTHING you would ever need in a villa for all ages. The pool and garden are amazing too. Importantly, the location is perfect. So close to all the amenities, restaurants, beaches, and attractions that the “Golden Triangle” have to offer. We recommend this villa, and the owners, wholeheartedly, and we cannot wait to return.

The property is spacious, wonderfully clean and is very well equipped. The fact that the kitchen is extremely well equipped and leaves nothing to be desired has already been written about many times. There are also plenty of shopping facilities nearby (there are others a little further away). If you don't like to cook, there are many possibilities to eat out, be it in Vilamoura in the harbour or in the golf clubs. The beds are comfortable and the air conditioners work quietly and efficiently. The garden is beautiful. It offers shady spots (too) at any time of the day. If you have a problem, Claude and Maria are there immediately, even on Sunday. We stayed for three weeks and liked the fact that the house and garden are cleaned and maintained every week, including new bed linen and towels.

What a beautiful place!

We spent a week here, and it was absolutely fabulous. The house is big, and gives everyone a bit of space (there were 6 of us), and equipped with absolutely everything we could need, and many things we didn’t, or would have needed another month or two to get around to…. It’s super-well positioned too, with two very large supermarkets within around 12-14 mins walk. Vilamoura Marina with its numerous restaurants, and some lovely sandy beaches were about 30 mins walk. Don’t get a hire car, just bring a good pair of trainers. And the house is everything that’s in the photos and more. It’s stuffed with art and curios, and is a delight. Not a spec of dust on anything either… There are also hundreds and hundreds of DVDs too, although we never got around to even switching any of the big TVs on! Any complaints? The big round bed takes some getting used to, as the bedside table isn’t anywhere close to where you sleep. So you can’t reach your bedtime tipple, or your morning coffee with any ease. First world problems!! Stay here. It’s just great.

Superbe villa idéalement située

Superbe villa, extrêmement bien située dans un superbe quartier tout près des commerces, de la plage et du port de Villamoura. La maison est très agréable, avec tous les éléments de confort nécessaires. Idéal pour des vacances en famille ou entre amis. Le jardin paysagé plein soleil est très bien tenu et très agréable. Plusieurs zones d'ombre permettent de profiter de cet extérieur magnifique à tout moment de la journée. Les hôtes, Claude et Marie, sont des hôtes formidables; à l’écoute, disponibles et très serviables. Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances notamment grâce à cette superbe demeure. This house, the location, the garden, the rooms and facilities, all were perfect for us. We spent 1 week an enjoyed to the max. Claude and Marie are very kind people and did their best to make our stay great! We can recommend this house to everybody who wants quality!

Casa fantástica para umas férias maravilhosas.

Casa fantástica situada numa zona sossegada onde o único barulho que se houve é o chilrear dos pássaros, permitindo o descanso e o relaxamento. No entanto está perto das praias de Vilamoura e da Quarteira. A casa é uma obra de arte, estando decorada de uma forma magnifica. Ao vivo a casa ainda é mais bonita do que as imagens apresentadas. A casa tem tudo para umas férias de sonho e se não bastasse isso os anfitriões, Claude e Conceição, estão sempre disponíveis para que nada falte. Fantástico.

A Truly Wonderful Villa

We have just returned from a 10 day stay in this stunning villa. Claude and Marie were perfect hosts and gave us a warm welcome and introduction to their beautiful home and surrounding area. Nothing was too much trouble for them and it was great to know that they were just a phone call away should we need them. The villa lacks nothing and we've never been to a place that is so well stocked where the owners have literally thought of everything! Each room is decorated to a high standard and so unusual. There's some lovely quirky touches which we loved and gave the villa such a unique character. The gardens are beautiful with plenty of shade should you require it and the pool was a constant 30 degrees throughout our stay. Evening BBQ's were wonderful with plenty of areas to sit out and dine. We regularly walked to the local supermarkets which were a 10 minute stroll and when we needed to go further, Claude had left numbers for taxis, which were very reliable and reasonable. Everyone fell in love with the villa and although people say this all the time, we would definitely come back. A massive THANK YOU to Claude, Marie and Alf, for allowing us to stay in your home and making us all feel so very welcome. xxx

Et meget specielt, men fantastisk bolig som Claude og Marie har fået lavet. Mange forskellige indtryk og en skøn fornøjelse at kunne bor i deres hus i vores ferie. Claude har hele vejen fra bestilling af boligen til selve ferien (½ år) været hurtig til at svare på vores spørgsmål. Incredible

Claude and Marie went beyond what normal hosts offer. We stay in villas frequently and the service and the villa itself exceeds anything we've ever experienced. The villa is spacious, sparkling clean and bright. The equipment in the villa was like going from home to home (and much much more). The location is a short drive from Vilamoura which sits on a beautiful harbour. It's a very quiet road in a prime residential location. We couldn't reccomend this villa and these hosts more. Cant wait until we book again. Thank you Claude and Marie for a wonderful stay!

Exceptionally good villa

The villa is finished to the highest standard with each room very well equiped, each bedroom had its own bathroom attached to it. The amount of equipment in the kitchen was amazing and much better than in previous villas we have stayed in. The gardens are immaculate with plenty of comfortable seating for both sunbathing and relaxing with a book. The villa is a 5 minute drive to Vilamoura and Quarteira so plenty of restaurants a short distance away. Came back incredibly refreshed after a weeks break. Claude was a very welcoming and helpful host throughout.

Modern villa, set in fabulous gardens, perfect for family or friends to holiday together.

I was keen to ensure that the villa I booked was big enough to ensure we didn't get under one another's feet. I was not disappointed. Casa Karolina is huge & and is set in beautiful gardens with 3 large outdoor seating areas, (2 on the ground floor & 1 on the 1st floor). The living areas & the bedrooms are all big, so if anyone wants a bit of 'me time' they can take themselves off to their room or another part of the villa to be alone. The large open plan dining/lounge area is very comfortable, (the sofa is amazing I wanted to bring it home), however we spent very little time inside, the weather was lovely, so we ate on the terrace outside the kitchen & in an evening sat outside the lounge, playing card games until the early hours. The pool gets the sun all day, so we were able to use it at any time of day it was always warm. We hired a pool table & a table tennis table from a local company to add to our entertainment & there was loads of room for them outside. There is a massive modele continente supermarket 10 minutes walk from the villa. We did a big shop when we arrived & got a taxi back, but the rest of the holiday we just walked down for what we needed & walked back. We did walk down to Vilamoura beach one day, but it's a good 30 minutes walk and we didn't fancy it again in the heat, so next time we got a taxi & went to Falesia beach which is not as busy. There are loads of really nice restaurants at & around the marina, we didn't have a bad meal all the time we were there. The only thing that separates the restaurants is the service. The one's on the marina are sometimes so busy that the service isn't as good. Our favourites were the 2 Italian restaurants in the block behind the marina (Stracta & Don Alfonso). There are bars dotted around the marina & the block behind it, we had a wander & a drink before dinner whenever we went into Vilamoura & went to some really nice bars. It's easy to get a taxi from the villa, we called & usually one arrived within 20 minutes. There is a taxi rank at the marina so we didn't need to book one to return. The taxi cost between 6 & 8 euros depending on the time of day. We went on a boat trip in the 2nd week of our holiday which we all really enjoyed, we booked online but could have done it down on the marina. I would recommend this villa to anyone who wants to stay in a nice quiet area but still be close to amenities. We had a lovely 2 weeks, thank you Claude & Maria!

A WONDERFUL VILLA SURROUNDED BY A BEAUTIFUL GARDEN AND SET IN A LOVELY LOCATION

We have just returned from a fantastic family holiday at the villa; we were six adults and two children aged almost 4 and almost 1 year. We were met at the villa on our arrival by the owners, Claude and Marie, who were welcoming and informative about the house and the area. They explained all we needed to know and left us with contact numbers, should we have needed to speak to them. So far as the villa itself goes … well wow, it exceeds expectations of the photos. The interior décor is representative of the photos – tasteful, modern, fresh and extremely well kept. The bedrooms were all spacious and the beds so comfortable that some of us slept better than at home – which may have also been assisted by the individual rooms’ air conditioning units which we could all alter to suit. The kitchen was better equipped than my own; with every utensil anyone could need. There was a large gas range cooker as well as an electric built in oven and of course a microwave oven. There was also a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. In fact all the comforts of home whilst on holiday. But the lovely pool and especially the garden is where the photos do not do justice to the beauty of the garden with its various trees, shrubs and tropical plants. Absolutely lovely. The villa is in walking distance of Villamoura Marina, where we spent a few evenings. Obviously with young children we did taxi back and forth – which is where Uber comes into its own – something I’ve never used before but also well impressive. As simple as downloading the app, fill in various details and the rest is self explanatory; no fuss, and no language barrier. From the villa it was less than £4 each way. We also used Uber to drop off and pick up from Lidl Store once in our holiday, which was a bit more fare than that. The app tells you how much the fare will be before you book so no nasty surprises. Other times we would just walk 10 minutes to the local Continente supermarket or Pingo Doce. All in all, we had a wonderful, relaxing, villa based holiday. Thanks so much to Claude and Marie.

Super netter Gastgeber und tolles Haus. Die Umgebung in Vilamoura ist fantastisch. Empfehlenswert!!!

Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber der sich vor Ort sofort kümmert und tolle Tips für Restaurants etc. hat. Das Haus ist mit seinen vier Schlagzimmern und einer großen Küche sowie einem schicken Wohnzimmer perfekt eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Der Pool ist ausreichend groß und befindet sich im wunderschönen Garten direkt an der Terrasse vor dem Haus. Ein Grill und eine Außenküche machen dann alles perfekt. Vilamoura ist sehr grün und wird super gepflegt. Gärtner sind ständig am wirbeln. Die Strände sind toll. Die Golfplätze in der Umgebung sind der Hammer. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Wonderful holiday villa!

This house is amazing! It had everything needed for a fantastic family holiday. The interior décor is so stylish and modern - Claude & Marie have a wonderful eye for detail and were lovely hosts. It is even better than the photos on the website. The 4 bedrooms are all very large and comfortable and each have a unique theme (as well as the benefit of a great ensuite bathroom). The kitchen is really well equipped – I tried to find something they did not have but was unsuccessful . The outdoor garden area is very beautiful with a variety of wonderful colour – a great place to relax with a good book and I will miss my swing chair! There are lots of different areas to sit and relax outside including the first floor balcony so you can benefit from the great weather any time of day. The swimming pool is always warm too and the children loved it! We would not hesitate recommending this house and hope to return ourselves sometime soon
