Views of valley & hills, & countryside winter bonfire experience with kangaroos passing at sunset. Comfy bed, spacious & rustic, basic accom but loved location. Had place to ourselves so private.

The room was clean and tidy. However the TV did not work but a staff member brought in another TV that worked fine. The entry path to the front door was undulating and dangerous for my wife to negotiate. The room was old and needed a refresh and painting. Bed cormfortable and linen fresh .

Worst place we have ever stayed in the Hunter. Dirty, run down, most things were either faulty or broken. No aircon, No heating. The worst.

We couldn't get the Tv to work and the property was bit run down but the accommodation while old was clean and tidy and the beds were comfortable so as a place to stay while traveling it was fine

Great view and location. Unfortunately its not only quite rundown (TV and eifi didnt work) its also barely cleaned at all from previous people. At least there were clean sheets, thats the best i can say. Tolerable only for 2 nights.

Dilapidated, filthy, overpriced, safety hazard and should be shut down before someone gets hurt. Wear a HAZMAT suit if you decide to stay in this "bargain accommodation" or drive to another suburb for better options. Unacceptable that this place continues to trade - since I was too busy to check referrals, I regretted every second of my choice to stay here. I apologised to my wife for this mistake - I don't often do that......

Villa 6 was dirty and not well maintained. Basic facilities. Freezer badly needed defrosting. No broom or dustpan and brush to enable us to clean. Kitchen sink plug old and not watertight. No washing up brush or cloth - only a tea towel!! Would certainly NOT recommend staying in Villa 6

Cute and cosy

The location of the resort was amazing and the views from the cottage is breathtaking. Also, the close proximity of the city centre and nearby attractions is an added advantage. However, the place itself was slightly worn down. We noticed that it wasnt thoroughly cleaned when we arrived. The sheets had been changed and that was pretty much it. We enjoyed our stay there; however a quick vaccum and mopping before would have been even nicer. Overall, it is budget friendly and in a perfect location.

The room was clean but should not be classified as a 2 bedroom. It’s one room with partitions that don’t go to the ceiling that separate the rooms. Villas overlook main road and noise from traffic could be heard. The queen bed was like sleeping on a wooden plank. Bathroom had tiles separating, and laminate stuck to the wall with tape. Outdoor areas look dated back to the 80’s, the whole place needs a lot of maintenance. Not worth the $400 a night, more like $200 at best, if it was in better condition. Very disappointed, I’m being generous with 2 stars.

The place was actually really nice, but it could definitely do with a good clean before guests arrive. The cups were all stained, the screen door didn’t close or lock fully and there were cobwebs around the windows and at the seating on the veranda. The TV didn’t work and the batteries were all rusted. If the little things were fixed and cleaned, it would have got a 5 star rating.
