Ok but....
The pluses for this apartment is the view, the beds, air conditioning and the garage.
The property has a great view but is not lakeside so a bit misleading. I always read reviews before booking, and had noticed comments about lightbulbs, shower, etc. As these comments were made as far back as 2 years ago and the management always responded with promises to fix the issues, I decided to go ahead. I am sorry to say that the issues still remain.
The biggest problem was the shower in the smaller bathroom. The drain needs attention as water overflows the shower area and goes everywhere. The shower itself is overdue for a deep cleaning. Soap scum has built up around the edges of the shower floor and on the tile walls. It is slimy, brown and disgusting. The hand held shower is STILL broken and you get a good drenching when turning the shower on.
The washer and dryer have seen better days. The units are old and dirty, The heating element on the dryer is not functioning, so the clothing never gets dry.
Do not take any food outside on the patio. We were dodging wasps and had to run back inside with the food,
The furnishings are old and tired. One of the highchairs was broken. Someone had tried to fix it with tape but it was not holding. Watch the floors, they are very slippery if wearing socks or your feet are wet from a shower.
While having the garage was a bonus, we found that our rental car was a little too large. The door would not close without hitting the car so we had to leave it open.
While this property has potential, it is clear that the management needs to attend to these small but annoying issues, They need to send a clear check in instructions prior to guests arriving, provide instructions on how to use appliances, operate manual shades, etc. Finally change the address listing to 5A rather than 5 to limit confusion. The list goes on. At this time I cannot recommend this apartment. It is not a good value for the money.
