"This was a very unique experience. The lodging was a shipping container and we went to sleep to the sound of coqui frogs and woke up to roosters crowing. The hosts were so personable and the breakfast was amazing, probably the best we had during our entire visit to the island. They have a friendly, but excitable dog. "Loved the property, but it was hard to find. There was no actual address so that we knew when we found it. We arrived late 3:00 am, and did not have any cell service, so that didn't help. We ended up going to a gas station for wifi and taking a picture from the VRBO app so we knew what it looked like and finally found it!! Great place to land each night after our adventures. "

"The apartment is on the first floor, which we really enjoyed. The kitchen was clean and well equipped. Perfect for self-catering. There was a welcome gift from the host, which was a great start.We enjoyed the jacuzzi and the terrace and lovely living room. Beds very clean. The many locks were a bit annoying, but I think in Puerto Rico this is common and we were fine with it. It is a 3-4 minute walk to the beach. The people on the beach and in the street of the apartment were friendly, we felt very comfortable and also very safe. Shopping facilities within 5 minutes by car (Amigo supermarket, McDonalds, Walgreens), even within walking distance. We were in the rainforest and at Luminiscence Bay, all within easy reach. Beware of potholes and speed bumps on the roads, there are no warnings, but you have to be very careful. We liked setting off at 6.00 am to the Angelito Trail (about 22 minutes away) and experiencing the early morning rainforest there. "
