"Beautiful resort with amazing views, very clean property and rooms, access to a steam room, sauna, indoor pool and jacuzzi in hammam style area, staff was amazing and very helpful and very caring. Highly recommend to any wanting a relaxing stay. Buffet breakfast had vast arrangements of fruits and choices and pastries and was healthy. All rooms have balconies and look towards the ocean. Resort is walkable to many restaurants, the beach, and bus stops."

"This property was amazing! For a family of five, the rooms were appropriate and comfortable. Lots of room to sit both inside and out. Patio overlooked Praia de Luz and the ocean. Location was within a five minute walk to everything. No need for a car, if that’s what concerns you, as restaurants, grocery and bus stops are so close. 15 min bus to Lagos (every half-hour), so running into the bigger city was a breeze. Lots of hikers and cyclists as the region is located on one of the regions beautiful trails. Definitely a family-oriented region. Beach was beautiful. Shallow areas as well as areas for surf and paddleboards. Food was amazing … at all the restaurants we ate at.For folks coming from North America, bring a converter (or two). Flights into Faro is recommended but we flew to Lisbon and took a train to Lagos. Our route was fine, seeing the countryside and chatting with locals. Faro has flights to Morocco that we would have used if we had more time. If you rent a car, the roads are well-marked and smooth. Using an eSIM was easy and cheaper than a European plan for our cellphones. Travel sites recommend Bolt/Uber ride share but cabs are almost the same cost … especially when you use the same guy (get their business card).We are definitely coming back to the Algarve and this rental agency."

"Host was fantastic. Property had problems due to unusual torrential rains for two weeks prior to our arrival. There was a leak in the ceiling of one bathroom. We contacted the host who offered us a larger unit for no additional money. Unfortunately, the unit was booked for 8 days later and he could not arrange for us to have it for our 68 days. We were able to arrange accommodations from another source in the same area and our host refunded ALL of our money. Now, that is a great host!"

"We had a wonderful time. Pascal and Camy are such great hosts and Pascal’s restaurant recommendations are top notch. The apartment is exactly as advertised: very clean, quiet, close to the beach and multiple restaurants. The veranda has wonderful views of the water. Luz is a beautiful town and it’s only a short drive to Lagos. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again."

"We had a wonderful stay at Casa Cian. The views are spectacular and the property is very conveniently situated in Luz, close to grocery stores, cafes, bars, the beach, and much more. Communication with Cian was particularly pleasant and helpful. He has assembled a complete “manual” for the property which explains, in detail, everything a visitor might need to know. The apartment was clean and comfortable. A new bathroom with plenty of hot water was a pleasure to use. We hope to return in the future and are happy to recommend this host and property!"
