"It’s a nice place in a good location. The room was very spacious and with a sofa also and a very large flat screen TV. The bathroom was also large so a nice room overall. The downside was that the wi fi connection was terrible! It kept dropping in and out. Otherwise it was a good stay."

"It was a lovely stay. We stayed for three nights and it was a lovely room. Didn’t hear the pub downstairs at all. Down the road is a dominos and a lovely Indian next door i reccomend it was great! "The hotel is easy to find, great parking, ability to eat at the hotel and sit in a nice beer garden. If you have mobility issues make sure you request ground floor room as there are lots of stairs and long corridors. I stayed in a deluxe room which was advertised as bigger than average. Overall pleasing colour decor. Tea, coffee , water . Now to be picky - the mattresses on the single beds pushed together to represent a" king size bed " need replacing . The shower area needs to be bleached....

"Room was superb. Turns out I had the bridle suit which was very nice. The only complaint if I had to find one would be the pillows. Looked big and comfy but they wasn’t. All went flat and not very comfortable, but that’s an objective complaint. Food was exceptional. Very friendly and helpful staff. I will be certainly using this hotel again on my travels. "

"The property was immaculate and well equipped. The host, Jane was extremely friendly and helpful. A quiet peaceful spot with chickens and sheep wondering around on the common land outside the enclosed garden. My only criticism is that the staircase was steep and difficult for me but it didn’t spoil our stay. I shall recommend to friends."

"We had a wonderful stay. The property owner showed us around telling us everything we needed to know. There was a fantastic welcome hamper including wine and easter chocolates, milk and beers in the fridge ,complimentary biscits and beverages. Cannot fault this property. Home from home. Will definitely return."

"The property is set in wonderful grounds and is well furnished. We had everything we needed for a 4 day stay. The fire in the lounge was a lovely focal point throughout the time we were there and we would love to return in summer when we could use the pool. Unfortunately Vrbo’s computer system did not appear to communicate with the property agent’s which led to various problems, including the property manager not knowing that we had paid the deposit. A phone call with the property agent easily...
