Don’t miss the Escalier des Feuillants, on of the most beautiful old staircases in Lyon, created by Claude Perret and Francois Girardon between 1662 and 1664. It’s located at 5, rue des Petits Feuillants (if the door is closed when you arrive, push really hard to open it). It’s initial purpose was double: allowing access to the monastery and to the bell tower of a now no longer existing church ! #troveontuesday
El casco antiguo de Lyon y sus traboules Vieux Lyon, Lyon medieval y renacentista, es uno de los debe hacer cuando visite la ciudad. Es de fácil acceso, muy bien conservado, muy agradable para pasear, pero me imaginaba mucho más grande que eso. Situado a orillas del río Saona, a los pies del distrito de Fourvière es reconocido Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO desde 1998. Nos encontramos con algunos turistas, muchos Lyonnais (estudiantes, especialmente los jóvenes), más de los enchufes (los restaurantes típicos de Lyon), pero también el Guiñol de títeres y callejones misteriosos ... El traboule es una pasarela para peatones que se pueden mover de una calle a otra, pasando por debajo de las casas, a través de cursos y escaleras. Los primeros callejones aparecen en el siglo IV y fueron construidas perpendiculares a la Saona. Hay más de 400 callejuelas de Lyon, incluidos 200 en el distrito del casco antiguo de Lyon. Muchos de estos pasajes oscuros y misteriosos están cerrados o condenado. Sin embargo, una serie de callejones permanecen abiertos al público y que incluso se las arregló para encontrar más por casualidad, sin siquiera mirar. Luego fuimos a la oficina de turismo con el fin de tener un plan, pero no perder ninguna. Pero a medida que la gente tiene un poco de estas idas y venidas constantes, algunos están cerrados, otros están abiertos por la mañana. Great location, basic but comfortable broom
The hotel is conveniently located as it's opposite to Lyon Gare Part-Dieu and the tramway station. It's easy to travel to the airport. The room was basic without any electric kettle or fridge, but it's not a problem for me as I only stayed for two nights.
