Parking a little pricey and walls a bit thin when it comes to screaming children. Nice vibe though. Great location. Would definitely stay there again.

Everything was 10/10…very responsive when asking questions. The room was excellent- very comfortable. The only thing I would change is maybe having a ice machine or a way to buy ice - the refrigerator ice maker didn’t seem to make ice :)

Terrific Madison location

We had a beautiful view of the lake through gorgeous large windows! Perfectly located close to the capital and many great places just a short walk away.

We were very pleased with our stay. Our room looked exactly what was shown on their website. Was clean and well kept. Prompt with responding back to questions. The roof top was an extra perk that we really enjoyed at night. Loved how close we were to the Dane County Farmers Market (less than 10min walk). Would definitely stay here again 🙂

Apartment away from Home

A wonderfully, unique place within walking distance of entertainment and food. Our room had a lake view and was very clean. We enjoyed some time on the rooftop balcony and walked the lakeside trail. Definitely could’ve stayed comfortably for longer!

Pros: lovely views, nice kitchen, washer and dryer.spacious unit. Pet friendly. Walkable to lots of sights, the lake, and restaurants. Cons: Other than views, I felt the area was just okay. Very much a self service situation more like an AirBnB. Finishes were not quite as high end as I had hoped. Parking was an extra fee for outdoor unattended lot.

We had a nice time while here. Beautiful building, however it was a bit hard to navigate, particularly the back door to where our cars were parked. The room was great, pull out couch wasn't comfortable but other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

Great alternative to traditional hotel

This is a great alternative to a hotel. Large living space with two bedrooms. A little sterile in terms of furnishings in the living room, but the place was clean and the kitchen had what you needed for a quick meal. Bathrooms were clean and bedrooms were private. Staff was not on site during my visit, but they took care of whatever we needed via telephone. Close to capital, lake trail and plenty of restaurants.

Very nice setting. Comfortable renovated saddlery building. Very convenient to walk to restaurants and events. Only complaint has to do with the lack of sound barriers between units. It sounded like our neighbors were in our unit. Otherwise, a very nice place.

It was a wonderful stay! Everything was so perfect in our apartment. It was well appointed and very clean. I loved having the gym in the L, too. The location was great with the lake view, many nice restaurants, and parks nearby. I would definitely come stay with you again and I would recommend you to friends which I have already!! Great property - very trendy! Desk staff was helpful when I called! Check in was a breeze. Construction around that area is horrendous with roads, sidewalks torn up and dust everywhere. Nothing you can do about that let’s just hope the project is completed soon.

We had a great 2-night stay at the Saddlery when dropping off our Freshman at U-Madison. We had a lovely view of Lake Monona, and our 2-bedroom unit was great for the three of us, plus extra space to stash all of our kiddo's dorm stuff for the night (didn't want to leave it in the car). Everything seemed new, and we appreciated the kitchen for breakfast! I will say that neither of our bedrooms had windows - they were on the interior of the unit. But the bedrooms had ceiling fans so that helped (we are a windows open every night kind of family), and the unit had A/C so for most it won't be an issue. There is a cute roof-top patio for the whole building, also with a killer lake view. Beds were comfy, the unit was super clean. A minor bathroom sink drain issue was resolved immediately. It's a little off the beaten path if you are spending a lot of time at the University, but we like to walk, took the bus a bit, and appreciated the extra space and that view when we returned to the unit. Lots of great restaurants nearby as well.
