Its a downhill slope walk of 14 minutes from Railway station and a bit longer going back. Local buses close. Plenty of local cafes and fish and chip shops handy. Location very good for walking the town walls. The absence of staff seen did not distract from what was a pleasent stay.I would use the hotel again if visiting the area."

"Didn't mind the unusual layout of the property, however, the door is badly fitting and is a noisy nightmare to open and shut, and the bed - oh dear, the bed! It creaks, groans and bangs, it's impossible to get in or out, or turn over without it making an almighty racket, which doesn't make for a restful night's sleep.Other than the awful bed, the cottage is clean and tidy and has everything you need, and the parking permit is a godsend -thank you"
