“There were repairs made to the wall inside the room. Plaster was all over the wall and carpet. The bathroom had clean towels, but the tub was not clean. Used soap and hair still in the tub, on the shower wall and floor beside the toilet. Even saw a large bed bug crawling on the pillow on the bed.”

“Clean room. Staff indifferent about service. Breakfast not included. Can be a long walk to the elevator. An okay stay.”

“When I pulled up to the entrance, I saw a lady arriving with a bag of food. I thought nothing of it. When I went to the check-in desk, there was no attendant. I called out, looked around, and in the dining area--no one responded. I thought this is weird, so I waited, and after about ten minutes, the lady I watched entering the lobby with a bag of food was actually the customer service attendant. I'm guessing she left to get food or had someone deliver food to her in the parking lot. She……

“My recent stay at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Virginia was okay, but there were a few areas that could use improvement. The staff was polite, but the overall service felt inconsistent, and some interactions didn’t meet the level of attentiveness I expected. Nothing was terrible, but the experience didn’t quite match the standard I’m used to from this brand. With a bit more focus on cleanliness of the room, communication and guest support, this location could really shine.”

“Arrived and no one was in the lobby or at the desk. We waited a while then finally found someone. A man with huge fake breasts came out, didn't acknowledge us other than asking for ID and credit card. Made no eye contact. Handed us the room key and that was it. Worst customer service we've experienced at a hotel. Also parking on Expedia is listed at $12, but hotel had a handwritten sign saying parking was $15. Definitely staying somewhere else next time we're in area.”

“Management did the right thing by granting a full, hassle-free refund at checkout, but this hotel requires a major overhaul. Our stay began with a broken AC, forcing a room transfer at 2:00 AM. The replacement room was in poor repair with broken lighting, and worst of all, the mattress and pillows were heavily and severely stained. Hospitality was severely lacking. A staff member named Carol forced guests out of the atrium common space before posted closing hours so she could leave early……
