"Avoid the restaurant at all costs... 90% of the menu is unavailable including ALL alcoholic beverages except 1 cheap wine option. Even though ALL the liquors and wines are displayed, they are for display only. The rest of the hotel was absolutely phenomenal and in a perfect location. Staff was amazing and the room was better than other places in Manila. I will stay here every time in the future. But I will just avoid dinning there. Makati Shangri-La, Manila

10/10 Excellent
"Our stay at Shangrila was lovely. The staff were very helpful and polite, and we felt welcome at every point of our stay. All the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. The location was perfect with multiple excellent restaurants and shopping mall and stores close by. Everything was were walking distance. The amenities and access to certain services in Shangrila were amazing, but there was a few issue with our room. Namely, our shower door had a problem closing. I requested an updated remodeled room, instead we got the oldest room and like has not been updated since the 1990s. This was requested early in advance prior to our arrival. However, the staff and location made up for it. We would happily stay here again, if they guarantee the room will be the remodeled one!"
