“Second time staying at The Old House visiting nearby family and attractions. We will return as comfortable clean accomodation and really good walk in shower with taps outside the shower which is great. Staff very friendly and helpful . A few minor things were that there wasn't an information book in our room although we didn't really need one. Also glasses left on tables overnight and there were cigarette butt's on the floor and steps and broken garden lamps. Simple things that could be……

“The food was really good, especially the breakfast but that was the only positive. The room that I was allocated ( room 6) looked good if dated, with lots of sockets but no USB charging points, it had a huge bed which was too soft for me but would suit others and that’s when it went down hill. There was a noise every 30 seconds or so like the room above me was flushing its toilets. I thought it would eventually stop but no. In the end I asked for a change of room and was asked if I had touched……

“Everything was perfect, beautiful comfortable room, delicious breakfast in bed included. Had dinner in the restaurant and it was excellent Will return and gift a break to our son and his wife”

“For the age of the building, the updated rooms were good but could have been cleaner. ”

“The hotel is very clean, nice and beautiful. They have a big, nice garden and is well managed. It gives you a pleasant environment that you relax and can walk around enjoying the atmosphere. The staff are nice and professional. The gardener even has time to introduce me to the plant I am interested in. This shows how a professional team they are. ”

“Parking was great. Food was excellent but we had a long wait for our dinner as there was only one chef on duty. He did his very best. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again. ”

“部屋は清潔でシングルルームの広さも思っていたよりも広くて快適でした。フロントの男性もとても親切で協力的でした。 ただ、チッペナム駅からは予想していたよりも遠くて歩ける距離ではありません。バスを利用しなければなりませんが、土日は近くのバス停にバスがとまりません。バスなどの公共交通機関を利用して旅行する人は注意する必要があります。 また、ここでタクシーを利用する際は、カードが使えるはずですが、タクシー運転手から何度も現金での支払いを求められます。”

“We stayed at Whitley Coach House to spend a few days in the area before attending a wedding in Frome. Tim and Ginny’s communication was excellent, and they were even kind enough to provide a travel cot last minute as we had ordered one ourselves that we didn’t think would come in time (although it did in the end). The coach house itself was spacious enough for the three of us, with everything one might need for a few days away. ”

“I had a warm welcome and my case was taken up to my room. The room was large with king sized bed. All clean, dated, but that suited the age of hotel! There was a small table with kettle and a selection of tea, coffee etc. Large en-suite with large shower. Lots of choices on breakfast menu and cooked freshly. Parking was easy. Location was excellent. 5 minutes walk to Lacock Abbey. Lacock is a very small place but very interesting.”

“A very comfortable place to stay, really love all facilities and decoration. It's ancient but fashion one. The staffs are really nice and very helpful. I will love to stay there again. By the way, the breakfast and dinner are really delicious.”
