This single family home on large lot and cul-de-sac street has been totally renovated with new everything in 2010. Tiled floors throughout, large granite counter top, stainless steal appliances, decorative lighting, modern bathrooms, and a large wrap around balcony with comfortable patio furniture surrounded by romantic white curtains giving you a true resort feel. The home is open, bright, and warm. New leather sectional sofa with 3 recliner (2018). Better then my own home! You can watch all the movies on a high definition 65 inch flat screen T.V. with surround sound. Kitchen area has a desk area where you can connect your computer to High Speed wireless internet (Fee Wifi) for those days where you just got to get some work done. The master bedroom has a king size bed (firm memory foam mattress), flat screen TV, and small private bathroom. The second bedroom sleeps 4 with one queen, top twin XL bunk on top, and twin XL trundle at bottom. Master has streaming T.V. . The home is on a deep canal ocean side (no issue for large boats), 75 foot private concrete dock with electricity and water. Rental includes dockage for ONE large boat. Boat lift on property is not available for renters. The home also has a chain link fence giving you peace of mind that outdoor toys are secure as well as security camera on boat slip area and front parking/entrance (although not needed, its very safe here). Note, no other security cameras as your privacy is respected. You can relax on the hammock under the coconut palms trees while the others in your party clean the catch of the day on our large fish cleaning table with it's own knife sharpener. Home is walking distance to everything you can need (deli, liquor store, movie theater, Kmart, Winn Dixie, Publix, Walgreens, Home Depot, and Park! Perfect for teens that can't drive but like their independence walking or riding bike by themselves to the park, movies, or shops. Family reunion? Inquire about nearby homes which are also available for rental.

Although Marathon is located about midway on the keys chain, it has just about anything you would need during your stay, including marathon airport (charter flights from Miami) and hospital in case you need medical attention during your stay. Key west is just a 45 minutes away. One of the best surprises when i bought this home was Sombrero Beach. This beach is only 5 minutes away by car and maybe 15 minute bike ride. Sombrero beach has white sand, coconut palms, private clean bathrooms, two volleyball courts, children play area with grass, barbecue grills and picnic tables, and the beautiful view of the ocean. A must visit. My teen (adult now) use to love marathon community park, which has its own X-tream skateboard park . This park has four tennis courts, a tennis wall, a combination hockey/basketball court (3 courts), two little league fields, and two soccer fields. There is also, two shuffleboard courts, two bocce ball courts, a batting cage, concession stand, amphitheater, picnic areas, and restrooms. Also, your teen will love to try out the cable wake boarding park! If you want to take a dip in a pool just go to sunset grill and raw bar where they have one of the largest pool in the keys overlooking the ocean at the seven mile bridge (free). Watch the sunset from here while at the bar listening to margaritaville. Enjoy some of the best fishing and diving available in the world. Sombrero reef is 4.5 miles away from our dock. It offers a spectacular reef and is just minutes away by boat ride. The seven mile bridge is probably the premiere location for the greatest game fish in Florida waters, the tarpon. The best part is that you will get top quality at a rate that can’t be beaten.
