Nice weekend getaway
This property is located in a quiet area outside of Burnet. Very close to Inks Lake and Longhorn Cavern State Parks. Had a many opportunities of things to do.

Quick trip to the Hill Country
Spent a couple nights in the Hill Country and this house was exactly what we needed. Simple, quiet, away from town, but easy to get to and very relaxing.

Hiking getaway with kiddos
This property was a nice retreat for me and my friend with our kiddos (ages 1 - 4). I think the most disappointing things about it were just the fact that the dish satellite had zero kids channels, and the bathroom was difficult to work with for bathing little ones (standing shower and bathroom mat was uncomfortable to stand on). The instructions were also a bit vague on what to do with towels, linens, and garbage. But overall, it was a great retreat for us and our kids! Would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable getaway, that is remote and quiet.

Property inside was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed early mornings having coffee and watching the sunrise from the front porch. Only suggestion would be to power wash the porch and outdoor furniture due to birds nesting under the porch roof.

Great location. Minutes from Inks Lake State Park. Very short drive to look at Buchanan Dam. A very short walk to a boat ramp and dock on Inks Lake. Stars were beautiful on the clear nights. Ten minutes into downtown Burnet. No wifi connection and the power went off to the house 3 times during our stay. This was not on the main power breaker in the house but on the pole outside. Glad I knew how to troubleshoot and fix the problem. Still not sure why the breaker was tripping. Sleeps 4 but with teenage boys one ended up more comfortably on the couch as beds were full or queen size.

neat -semi rural retreat,
Property was better than expected and more than we needed so would definitely recommend on that basis but we got both wrong and misleading directions. One set directed us to Yucca Drive which took us to an area I thought I might be at risk. Part of the confusion was that none of the materials highlighted the fact the site is ten miles west of town.
