Beautiful place to stay

The entire condo had recently been updated and is well kept. The view is beautiful of the pool and beach although you won’t get sunset views from the balcony. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the beach - the unit has all the beach essentials including wagon, umbrella and chairs which was very helpful. The property management team was easy to work with. Overall would recommend!

October 2024 Stay

We had an incredible 8-day stay on Marco Island in a stunning condo with a spacious kitchen and breathtaking views of the beach and sunset. The property was immaculate, and everything was well-prepared and organized upon our arrival. Marco Island Vacation Properties provided exceptional hospitality, making our stay smooth and enjoyable. We truly loved every moment and would highly recommend both the island and this wonderful property for a perfect getaway.

The apartment was immaculate and had beautiful views from both balconies. We loved eating breakfast out on the balcony in the morning. The water is about a 10-minute walk but a wagon and everything you need for the beach was provided which made it easy. We'll be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It’s always nice to be on Marco in February. A bit windy and chilly the beginning of February, which tends to be hit or miss early in the month. We enjoyed all the restaurants on the island. This was our second year in this condo which has been clean. The bed is comfortable, but it could use some new linens as they are getting a bit worn. The sleeper sofa in the living room needs to be repaired or replaced as it is sagging in the middle. The kitchen faucet still confounds me as it is completely backwards and can be easily remedied if desired. The hurricane sliding glass doors are extremely heavy and difficult to open and close, and should be an easy fix. The vertical blinds are finicky to operate and can easily be inoperable. The hurricane front door protection threshold is a real tripping hazard. The condo is minimally equipped with pots and pans, but we don’t cook too often there anyway. The mobile app for the washer and dryer was a pleasant surprise and easy to operate. People are friendly. The walk to the beach is a hike but not terrible. Overall, we enjoy our stay very much, even with the few small annoyances noted. Andrew is always very prompt with any repairs or concerns that happen.

Best place we have stayed on Marco. This condo has it all plus best sunset view on the beach. No details were spared- kitchen was equipped, bathrooms immaculate and bed was comfy. Andrew and front desk staff at Rental company were very responsive and helpful. We booked for next year before leaving. Thank you for everything.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We truly enjoyed the views from the balcony to include the sunrise every morning and the beach was beautiful. I think it would be much better if adequate supplies were provided to include enough pillows, towels, and cookware and more comfortable beds. There were also way too many rules for this place and we were kicked off the pickle ball courts at 730pm by a very miserable resident who said we were breaking the rules.

Nicely updated condo in South Seas tower 4.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo has been recently updated and was just as pictured on the website. It is tastefully decorated and had most everything we wanted or needed. Everything is new, so that is nice. Everything was pretty clean except for the windows. I could tell they had not been washed (both inside and outside) prior to our arrival, and they needed to be. Aside from that, no complaints.The Condo has windows on 3 sides, so it feels very open and spacious (and you can see a long way to the East and West). We liked having the view over the Island as well as the beach. Note that the balcony does get nice morning and early afternoon sun, so if the pool or beach is not your "thing" (and you want sun), you have that option. They did have beach towels and beach equipment (chairs, etc), but we did not use them. I thought I would miss not having a washer and dryer in the unit, but I didn't. It was easy to use the communal Laundry and I never saw anyone else using it during the time I was. This condo is nice and had everything we needed except for a few minor things. We could have used an additional set of pots and pans as well as a large frying pan (there isn't one). Also, they do not have a smart TV (easily remedied by bringing your own device). The hair dryer (there was only 1) did not work, so I had to buy one. I did leave it there, but don't expect much for the $10 bucks I spent. This was our first time staying at SST4. It's a bit of a fiasco to get checked in there (check in at the guard gate, then go to the office in building 3 - along with everyone else doing the same thing at the same time). Note that the parking pass the gate guard gives you is good for 24hrs, so you could delay the office check in until the next day (we'll probably do that next time). Marco Island vacation properties was very professional, accommodating and friendly!

Most Excellent and wonderful stay. Beaches, The Rookery Estuary, the Everglades, Naples Zoo, all close by for daily adventures. The condo/property was perfect, we loved it.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay in an apartment on the beach at Marco Island was a big success. We couldn't fault our choice where the attention to detail was brilliant. The corner unit helps with it's dual aspect. Enjoyed the sun rises but unfortunately you can't see the sunsets from the unit. The kitchen and bathrooms had been updated to a high standard and the storage in the bedrooms was exceptional with more than enough draws and cupboards. The public rooms in Tower 4 look a little dated with their 1990s furniture but you can't fault the way the place is looked after. It's very smart and tidy. There was constant maintenance and improvement work going on while we were there but it was not intrusive and did not affect our stay. Previously we'd stayed in houses on the island and this was the first time we had used an apartment on the beach. We were apprehensive about making the change but were pleasantly surprised and would not hesitate about using an apartment in the future. As with previous lets we can only praise MIVP. They look after you with a simple and light touch and are helpful and willing. We had a simple issue with the waste disposal which had no affect on our stay and a low priority. I reported it before we left to ensure the issue was rectified for the next let. MIVP responded within minutes and the faulty part was replaced within a couple of hours. Exceptional service.

Fantastic Condo and Vacation

We had a few snafus while we were there but they did not take away from how wonderful our vacation was:- Like others have said, the mattress in the master bedroom is awful. It's like a marshmallow with a huge crater in the middle. - There is only one tiny cutting board in the unit, which barely fit an apple; and only 2 small skillets. A few larger items would be great.- The pool was closed for the first 3 days of our stay due to a "chemical imbalance," and unfortunately, we found the beach cart and beach umbrella broken when we arrived. The rental company and condo owners were wonderful and immediately replaced the umbrella and ordered a new cart (although it did not arrive before we departed). Having all of the beach gear was wonderful.South Seas is in a great location: easy drive/walk/bike ride to restaurants and shops, but still quiet.

Could be much better

The property is very reasonably priced and gorgeous. Location is fantastic and the condo is very family friendly. There is an inexpensive veneer over the property- for example, the closet doors were falling off its hinges and the bathroom towel bar was broken. All this is fine except that the beds were AWFUL. No one wants to go on vacation to get a backache no matter how nice the views. Additionally, our other major concern is that the rental agency had additional conditions which are not generally on other VRBO listings, such as a 10 am checkout, and requirement to do all the laundry except what was used that last night (who wants to do laundry on their last day of vacation)? Overall, I would only recommend if other listings are not available.

Beautiful updated condo with gorgeous views

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in this wonderful condo in July 2021. It was updated beautifully and mostly well equipped. We enjoyed cooking, playing the available games in the evenings or during a rainy day, lounging and eating meals on the balcony, watching the sunrise on the small balcony just off the kitchen. The provided beach cart was a definite must have and used everyday for the trek to the beach. We spent time at the pool which has an attendant that makes sure everyone is following the rules. The only 2 critiques are - the master bedroom mattress really needs to be replaced. It slopes to the middle and isn’t comfortable. The second is there was no large skillet for cooking. There were only a couple of small skillets and a larger pot. Other than these 2 things are stay was great!
