“Lovely hotel, previously stayed when it was Lacanda san Barnaba and the upgrade is really great, whilst still keeping the originsl ceiling frescos and other features. Great new updsted bathrooms. Great communal areas as well as fab breakfast. Only slight niggle was not much hanging space and no drawers but easily manageable. Overall a great stay”

“We needed a place to stay for 1 day in Venice. We were able to drop our bags first thing in the morning which was great. Noel was very helpful. Room was small but we expected that. Worked well for us.”

“This is a really great property in an amazing location. We had the Magnolia apartment and the living room and bedrooms are huge. The palazzo is beautifully restored and it is such a comfortable place. We were able to get a water taxi directly to and from so no dragging luggage around Venice. I highly recommend staying here. ”

“A bit far from St Marco. Check-in process was great and the gentleman was very professional. All perfect except for checking out. I booked a pickup at the hotel and the lady insisted that I walked 10 min away over to the taxi port with heavy luggage to meet the driver there. How could I tell which driver and car? I ended up meeting the driver at the hotel but why did I have to fight for that? ”

“Staff were very kind and helpful and the room was clean with a comfortable bed, a stocked fridge and toiletries. There was a beautiful terrace overlooking the Great Canal where they served great food. I highly recommend this hotel and will add it to my itinerary on my next visit.”

“Very nice small boutique hotel with only 5 rooms. I like the design/deco a lot. Very close to ferry pier if you are from Rovinj. A little longer walk from the centre but it is acceptable. Quiet and clean room. Wonderful owner and staff. They are very helpful and responsive. I would certainly stay again.”

“The apartment was perfect for what we needed - great location a couple of minutes from Academia bridge, clean and nicely appointed. Whoever did the modernising was not a perfectionist in terms of finish! But everything worked well and we enjoyed it enormously. The support we got from administration before out trip was excellent and the staff at the sister Hotel Nani Mocenigo Palace were absolutely delightful, friendly and helpful.”
