Small, family-like Riad
This Riad is small and simple, but feels like a family stay. Staff is very nice and organises tours or even how to get you luggage all the way to the bus stop. Very recommended for people who travel alone, women friendly, the manager is always there and very nice to talk to. The rooms are simple, but functional, if traveling with more than one, make sure to get a big room. The location is very easy to find, ones you're there. Because it's basically just straight down from Jemaa al Fnaa. To find it for the first time better download Google offline maps.

Friendly read in the middle of the medina
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They even picked us up, when my friend and I couldn't find the place on the first day( no extra cost).

Perfect location but no heating and very poor bed.
Staff were fantastic, kind and helpful. Huge shame about the bed that was very creaky and made a noise every time there was a slight movement. The heater in our room also didn't work and we were given a thick blanket as a replacement. We had to ask for more towels to be washed and cleaned too. For one day there was no hot water and no wifi. Other than this the hotel was decorated beautifully authentic to morrocon decor. situated in a perfect location made it easy to walk to all the nice sights nearby. Breakfast was good too. Beware of the tax rate that needs to be paid at the end of the trip too. Approx 2.5 euros per person per night. Hope this helps.

We really have a good time. Gave facilities to my mum as she walks with a walking stick. Very nice environment and nice staff.

Convenient location
The Riad was basic, but big plus was the closeness to the Souqs and about 10 min walk to the big square. The staff were super friendly and accomodating. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were flexible with the timing to suit our group.

Great central budget ayay
Bit tricky to find but once we found it it was a superb location to be in the thick of it - only 10 minutes to Jmaa el Fna. Service was kind and helpful, the room and road was simple and pretty but sleeping was hard because of noisy guests. Recommend for budget short stay in Marrakesh!

Disappointing
Traditional, basic Riad in the heart of the medina. Very difficult to find and could do with some TLC. Don't go if you are expecting creature comforts....no TV, no tea/coffee facilities, no toiletries in room etc. Staff lovely and helpful but in an area I didn't feel safe in and would not recommend. Breakfast consisted of instant coffee sachets with lukewarm water in a plastic flask plus a few different kinds of bread and some strawberry jam (every day for 5 days. Was ready to sell a kidney in return for some fresh fruit, yoghurt or an egg by the end!). We had twin room at the top and the beds were very old and saggy and the room was dirty with paint peeling off the ceiling in the very tiny bathroom. Would not return to this Riad...or Marrakech for that matter.

the Real Deal
if you want an authentic experience of living in the old city, or Medina, of Marrakech, this is the place to stay. Nestled in a small warren of side streets off of a main route to Jemaa El Fna, this three story riad is perfectly decorated in true Moroccan style, from the scattering of colorful floor rugs to the beautiful sconces and hanging lanterns. While small, it is charming and the bathrooms are en suite. There is even a rooftop terrace to enjoy the cool desert breezes while enjoying breakfast or watching the sunset. The staff is friendly and attentive and speek fairly good English. They will provide directions, maps, and even arrange tours for you. Best of all, it is within easy walking distance of all the main sights and landmarks of Marrakesch!

Strutta discreta. Sicuramente non eccelsa ma per parlare della Medina di Marrakech non è male. Personale estremamente simpatico, gentile, premuroso, da voto 10 sono bravissimi ragazzi. Colazione discreta. Camera un po’ piccola non molto pratica, mal arieggiata. Bagno piccolo. Però ripeto siamo a Marrakech, non si sa cosa si può trovare negli altri Riad, dunque per me voto positivo lo consiglio. A 5 minuti a piedi dalla piazza principale Posizione ottima.

Das Personal war sehr um unser Wohl bedacht. Das Zimmer war sauber und es gab täglich frische Handtücher. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und gut. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Leider ließ der Zustand der Dachterrasse völlig zu wünschen übrig. Diese sollte schleunigst renoviert werden.

Teleurstellend!
Het riad is erg verouderd, lijkt niet te zijn onderhouden, jammer! Kamer is erg klein en vochtig, niet fijn... Het personeel is uitermate vriendelijk en behulpzaam, echt lief! Het wordt wel goed schoongemaakt..Het riad ligt rustig en op loopafstand (door de souks) van het grote plein.

Fatima,De gastvrouw van Riad Venezia doet er alles aan om je verblijf perfect te laten verlopen,ontbijt is goed,kamerhygiene is top,Thx Rashida. Al het personeel is vriendelijk. Parfait pour petit budget. Jamal, l'hôte, est entièrement disponible et serviable. Expedia m'a vendu le séjour vol/hôtel pour une arrivée a 1h20 du matin, alors que l'hôtel recevait jusqu'à minuit (!), malgré cela il m'a envoyé un taxi à tarif réduit et reçu a 2h, et m'a également attendu tard le lendemain matin pour me servir le petit-déjeuner. Seul hic, le wi-fi qui passait mal dans ma chambre du dernier étage. Merci et bonne continuation.

riad de charme à prix très abordable
accès assez facile, à 800 mètres de la place Djemma. toujours accueil excellent avec le thé d'accueil le temps de remplir la fiche. Très bons petits déjeuners copieux. La chambre dans le riad Venizia est typique, bien climatisée, calme. même pour notre départ pour l'aéroport à 4H00 du matin, le veilleur ALAME nous a amené le petit déjeuner, le taxi était commandé, il nous a accompagné jusqu'au taxi en portant les valises. Tout était parfaitement organisé. Très content de notre séjour. C'est la seconde fois qu'on va à ce riad- on y reviendra. Pas besoin de dépenser plus pour avoir moins....

Wundervolles Riad in top Lage!
Die Lage des wunderschönen, geschmackvollen Riads ist absolut perfekt, sehr zentral in der Altstadt gelegen und ruhig trotz der Nähe zum Djemaa el Fan Platz. Sehr herzliches und freundliches Personal, ein mit Liebe zubereitetes Frühstück, angenehme Dachterrasse zum Erholen und liebevolle kleine Zimmer, ermöglichten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in Marrakesch. Wir haben uns von der ersten Sekunde bis zum letzten Tag wie zu Hause gefühlt. Es fiel uns schwer diese wunderbare Umgebung zu verlassen und wieder nach Hause zu fahren. Jedem zum empfehlen, der Marrakech erkunden möchte!

Nice Riad near the center of Marrakech
We have been in this Riad 5 nights (actually 4 since one was spent in the desert) and I can say it has been a really good experience. The staff is really nice, and they help you with everything. The location is really near the center and I suggest it, it's not so comfortable to wander at late hours in Marrakech far from the main square. They helped us organize a 2 days 1 night trip in the desert, provided breakfast in the morning of the leave for it even if it was before the usual time (7:00 against 8:30) and the dinner the day we returned. Only point the room was a bit humid, but for the price and the other good things I really suggest it!

Estancia muy buena, para la llegada esta un poco complicado. Nosotros cogimos wifi desde la Plaza y pusimos el gps, y llegamos bien. Fuera del Riad no pone nada, es el nº 23. A unos 5 min de la plaza Luego el personal muy atento siempre, desayuno abundante, y habitaciones limpias.

Non abbiamo alloggiato in questo Riad, in quanto due settimane prima delle partenza, (dopo aver prenotato con due mesi di anticipo) ci hanno contattato per comunicarci che non potevano ospitarci per un problema elettrico. Poi senza comunicarlo a Expedia volevano trovarci un altro hotel. Ma noi abbiamo prontamente contattato Expedia che ci ha trovato una fantastica sistemazione alternativa. Grazie Expedia.

il sito riporta immagini del corpo principale. a me hanno riservato la stanza in una specie di dependance a pochi passi, con meno luce e qualche piccolo disagio ma nel complesso per dormire andava piu' che bene...colazione non certo continentale....

Nous n'avons pas séjourné dans cet hôtel car les environs était trop trop trop dangereux, difficile d'accès en voiture et impossible de se garer en voiture. Les mandients nous on suivis pour nous montrer l'hôtel et nous réclame 100DHS en nous menaçant que si on donne pas il casse la voiture... .

Wir würden wieder kommen!! Sehr zu empfehlen!
Mein Freund und ich waren für 10 Tage in Marrakesch und haben im Riad Venezia gewohnt. Das Riad ist recht klein (ca. 10 Zimmer) und liegt nicht direkt in einem Touristengebiet, d.h. man bekommt mehr von der dortigen Kultur mit, was wir sehr positiv fanden. Zu Jemma El Fna läuft man nur etwa 10 Minuten durch die Souks. Die Zimmer sind recht simpel eingerichtet (Bett, Schrank, Komode, Klima & Nachttische), was für uns allerdings völlig ausreichend war. Außerdem hatten wir ein eigenes Bad. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es war immer jemand da, den man fragen konnte (gute Englischkenntnisse) wo man was am besten kauft (wir wurden dann auch persönlich in die Geschäfte gebracht und haben Schnäppchen erstanden) oder welchen Bus man nehmen muss. Bus fahren ist übrigens sehr zu empfehlen, da viel billiger als die nervigen und aufdringlichen Taxis! Wir haben nur mit Frühstück gebucht, was völlig ausreichend war, und durften die Küche dort mitbenutzen und uns selbst etwas kochen. Gemüse, Reis, Couscous und Brot haben wir immer in den Souks eine Straße weiter gekauft.

Bon petit Riad niveau qualité prix , le personnel est très sympa est bien accueillant , le propriétaire du Riad a un autre Riad a 50M, donc en cas d'absence d'un membre du personnel , le personnel de l'autre Riad prend le relais, le petit déjeuner est sympa , dommage que y pas de rideau dans la douche car après une douche vous avez de l'eau partout dans la salle de bain , pour nous le ménage n'était pas fait dans la chambre mais sa nous déranger pas plus que sa on rester que deux jour .pour les budget serrer ou ceux qui vient à l'hôtel juste pour dormir c'est un bon plan

Verscholen in de Medina en rustig genoeg . Boven een prima plek om even buiten bij te komen . Het was schoon maar wel oud. Ik zag een hele mooie kamer maar die hadden wij niet wat jammer was want ik had heel vroeg geboekt !

No es lo que esperábamos.
Al llegar nos querían meter en una habitación muy pequeña y en la planta baja al lado de la zona común (donde se desayuna).Pedimos que nos cambiaran y nos llevaron al edificio de al lado y nos ofrecieron otra también abajo pegada a la zona común,dijimos que no y nos subieron a una de arriba con 3 camas pero un poco sucia.(un hueso de melocotón encima de una mesa,una araña aplastada en el baño,pelos en el plato de ducha,colchones horribles...).Al lado había unos chinos que estuvieron haciendo mucho ruido hasta que bajamos a decírselo a jamaal(muy amable en todo) y subió a llamarles la atención.al día siguiente los chinos se fueron y nos dieron su habitación,esta estaba bien pero tenia una enorme humedad y moho en el techo del baño,enchufes sacados de la pared(con un simple destornillador y 1 minuto se arreglarían),de las 2 ventanas solo una con cortina y apunto de caerse la barra(una caña de madera),no nos cambiaron las 2 toallas en los 4 días de nuestra estancia.lo del SPA y cocina es falso solo dan desayunos.Lo mejor la cercanía a la plaza(5 minutos andando). En fin que ya sabemos que es un riad,al que le guste me parece muy bien pero nosotros no volveríamos,preferimos un hotel,el precio es mas o menos igual.

Zeer gastvrij personeel. Het hotel is niet gericht op luxe maar is erg gezellig en sfeervol, met een leuk dakterras met mooi uitzicht op het Atlasgebergte.
