Fomos bem recebidos. E foi só. Reservamos dois quartos e logo quando os vimos um deles era literalmente num porão úmido e escuro. Pedimos para trocar e nada foi feito. No outro quarto havia uma fresta no forro por onde entrada muito vento e o aquecedor não aquecia; o chuveiro tinha pouca água e quase fria.O café da manhã era risível, quase nada para comer. Pagamos um preço alto pela estadia e tivemos um péssimo benefício. Ao irmos embora lembramos ao funcionário dos problemas e ele muito irritado disse "são 200 reclamações para resolver e o chefe não faz nada..." Há certamente outros Riads muito melhores na região. O que ficamos é muito ruim.

What a great time we had at Chorfa. Beyond being a charming place in a very convenient location close to the Djemaa El Fna, the staff was extraordinarily kind and helpful. We can’t wait to come back.

Friendly and well run Riad in the Medina

We were met at the airport promptly, and driven with care to the Medina. Our luggage then transferred to a "luggage barrow", which was expertly pushed to our Riad. On our arrival mint tea was immediately brought, and we were invited to sit and relax, which we happily did. Riad Chorfa is beautiful and well furnished. The majority of rooms overlook the main atrium, which could be a disadvantage if you wanted an early night. However, ours was a step outside the main building, so although it overlooked the street, I think it may have been quieter, and cooler. Our room was connected to the Riad by a staircase which went up to the roof terrace. The rooms are individually decorated, and charming, Our double mattress was definitely on the firm side, but we had no trouble sleeping, The showers had plenty of hot water. Watching the sunrise (and set) on the roof terrace was a fabulous experience. The roof terrace is a delight with several different little areas to sit in, and enjoy breakfast, or whatever, or just doing nothing. The menu is clear, and the food and drinks, fresh, delicious and good value. The staff are all exemplary, and nothing is ever too much trouble, they are always happy to help. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and would highly recommend Riad Chorfa.

Close to everything, quiet spot, good staff

The Riad was very charming - from the rooftop terrace, to the courtyard to our pretty room. The staff spoke very good English and were always very helpful for questions or booking a guide or taxi. It was chilly when we were in Marrakech but they had a heater in the room. They would also light a fire in the garden area where we could have our mint tea after a day of touring. The breakfasts were good. Our room was clean and had really pretty decorations. The Riad is in a quiet alleyway and only 3 minutes walk to the Souks and main square.

The problems started even before we got there when the private car we arranged through them wasn't at the airport when we arrived and turned out it was a dirty shared old mini-van. Once we got there we were offer no tea which happened at the 6 other riads we stayed at & the manager Mimi started making very rude & inappropriate comments to my cousin about her appearance & her work. Meanwhile a man who never even told us his name tried to hard sell me on budget tours. We were doing an extended family gathering in Morocco with private tours and rented villas with the rest of our family but it was clear that Mimi & her lackey assumed we were budget travellers and decided to treat us poorly. I picked the place because the pictures of the courtyard looked amazing not because of cost. Our first room was tiny, a window was missing the glass panes & then the shower stopped working. Mimi actually yelled at us and accused us of lying about there being no hot water. We should have just left then but we didn't. We tried to have dinner at the riad, my food was just bad and they forgot most of my cousin's food. We both ended up with upset stomachs. We did book a private guide through them who was just ok. Wifi didn't work. We paid 3% more to pay with our credit cards. They forgot to put a duvet in our new room & when we asked the night person for it he said it was the cleaning staff's job & to wait until the morning & get a duvet from them. Absolutely the worst service we had in Morocco

Très bon séjour

Nous avons passés un séjour de 4jrs très agréable. Le personnel hôtelier est très gentil et à l'écoute. Nous reviendrons dans cet hôtel sans hésitation qui est encore plus jolie en vrai qu'en photo.

Abbiamo soggiornato in due differenti suite. Il Camino, la vasca, le luci, le pareti, la colazione, rendono questa riad meravigliosa. A soli 4 minuti di camminata dalla piazza!

It can't be any better!

Nice location at the center of the medina, and the indication on Google map is spot on so no trouble finding the hotel at all. Staff is all friendly and helpful, providing basically anything one will need from an extra heater to shopping tips. All in all, a great choice! We will definitely recommend this place to friends!
