"We spent a lovely few days at La Peyriere, very relaxing and we manage to combine some lovely evenings by the fire with some long walks and trips to some amazing markets nearby. A great place to come if you want to have some time away from the day to day."

"I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Carlton Lyon. The staff are wonderful: friendly and accommodating. The hotel is in the heart of the city. Two metro stops and the central tram transit point at Bellecour are all within an easy walking distance. My room was wonderful. And there are a lot of dining options around. Given that the hotel does not offer a la carte breakfast, I highly recommend Cafe Joyeaux Lyon, a five min walk away, which has the best croissants in Lyon and excellent coffee as...

"Lovely house with loads of character. Excellent for large groups as loads of space. Limited wardrobes that were usable ! Shame that the outdoor pool kept loosing water and the lining was a bit green so we didn’t use it. Lovely owners very helpful and a very helpful local lady. Nice village. We had a lovely stay. Thank you Frabrice for the wheelchair ramps they worked a treat!"

If you ever consider paying extra for the breakfast- do it. We were recommended the hotel for it's comfort and breakfast and it was worth it. Do try the egg station they are so so good. "Booked river view room. Room large,bathroom huge walk in shower,bed king and comfortable. Ac was built in by window, im not sure how effective it might be in summer. One comfy chair one no so much, 2 would have better. Fridge with free nibbles and softies. Nice central position in city."
