「Great location for Matlock Bath illumination. Hotel has an Indian restaurant which was popular but we had already booked elsewhere. The hotel is generally clean and tidy but some aspects of cleaning could be improved. The shower doors and bathroom floor would have benefited from a better clean. Good parking facilities on site and friendly staff. Hotel is a bit tired but places to stay in Matlock bath with parking are limited. All in all, good value for money.」

「A good hotel in a really beautiful setting. Good quality food in restaurant at a sensible price. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Additional bonus of a geothermally heated olympic size outdoor pool. Easy on-site free parking.」

「Room was filthy, dust, dirt and cobwebs. Bathroom smelt like poo. Sink leaked. Entire room smelt of damp. Bed atrocious. The pillows were flat as pancakes and very old. Fridge didn't work. Staff friendly.」
