Home away from Home

The Las Flores Resort is very accommodating. The building is not new but is well maintained. Personnel are very sensitive to clients concerns and take action quickly to alieviate them. Room service is available and are very prompt. Room cleaning services are excellent. Very happy with the stay.

The place cost the same as the Marriot. I wasn’t able to cancel 24hrs before check in. Therefore I took the risk but the place is very bad. Will never go back neither recommend.

We never got to . Our plane canceled our flight and we missed the total eclipse and it was my birthday. we planned over 6 months for this. they could have given us the days at another time. Instead as it was not our fault they just made a bad situation worse. Hotels .com used to be great in helping not now that they are with expedia. vacation and b-day ruined.

Had booked 13 nights through Expedia. Arrived at the front desk and they claimed they had no record of my reservation. We knew something was up when even when presented with the printed confirmation they had no record of the booking. Of course they had the room available and after a long wait we were led up to our room by a porter who insisted on carrying our suitcases on his ginormous handcart. These were bags that were easily rolled. We took up the whole elevator. Room was ragged with really shoddily built shower, low water pressure, inconsistent temperature, a none private balcony, band aid on the floor, ultra tiny beds (full-size not double), worst mattress and pillows we’ve ever encountered, no wash cloths, questionable locks on the main door and balcony, etc. To top it off there’s no safe in the room. Reviews made it obvious room theft was a issue here. Place was so sketchy we found a rental house and checked out the next morning. When leaving the room with our suitcases the maid who was obviously waiting for us to leave for the day asked if we were checking out. We said yes and she quickly pulled out here phone and went into our room. The staff actually stalled the elevator hoping we’d miss checkout and be charged another day. Stay away from this place and Mazatlan. We were short changed and ripped off everywhere. This place is only suitable for a cruise port stop for us now.
