"Overall, it was a good affordable stay. The breakfast was underwhelming, however the staff and room were great! A bar in the lobby would be the perfect addition. "

Long Cove Resort & Marina
10/10 Excellent
"I absolutely loved staying here, will definitely rebook again. When I find my myself again in the Charlotte area. Very quiet and reserved, the vibe gives; if you wanted to finish writing a book this is where I would come. It's very outdoors; so make sure you have 4WD to make it up the hill. We really didn't know how to work the thermometer in the room for heat but it was fine. Just a heads up the mini doesn't have a freezer, lol I wish I knew that before buying ice cream. Overall great stay; like I stated."

"House boat was great! We expected all 6 of us to have a place to sleep as advertised, but were unable to. We luckily brought a few cots to accommodate. "
Beautiful Escape, Mins from Carowinds & Lake Wylie

"Here are the things I liked about the house. It was a new build and very clean. Its location was near to where my sister lives. It had a very nice layout with 3 bedrooms 2.5 bath on main floor, and a mezzanine sleeping area and 4th bedroom and a bathroom upstairs. The kitchen had nice major appliances and smalll appliances It had ample seating area for eating. There were also TV’s in all rooms. We also appreciated the coffee pods. Here is what I did not like. The beds were all very firm. If you are a side sleeper you are not going to sleep well. The couch is equally uncomfortable. Since it is a new build I am assuming the owner has not finished furnishing the house. The bedrooms all desperately need at minimum nightstands on both sides of the beds with lamps. And a chair wouldn’t be amiss. We actually used an ironing board for a side table. The house could use some games/puzzles etc for entertainment and a few throws for watching tvThere are other suggestions i could make but I think the kitchen needs some basic cooking items like salt/pepper, spices, oven mits , mixing bowls, serving dishes. The backyard had zero outdoor furniture. Since the backyard is not fully fenced you could not leave kids unattended since the house is in a busy road. I think the house has a lot of potential to make it a great family friendly place with a little bit more effort. Its 90% there."
"Our family had a wonderful stay at this lake house! It was the perfect spot for our large group—plenty of space for everyone to spread out, but also great gathering areas for meals and games. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were comfortable, and the views of the lake were beautiful, especially at sunset. We loved spending time on the deck and by the water—great for both relaxing and making memories together. The host was responsive and made check-in easy, which we really appreciated.Overall, it was an ideal place for our family getaway, and we’d definitely stay here again!"

"Area felt dangerous and had loud music blaring till 12am. Thank you for teaching us a lesson in triple checking reviews and area before. Will never make this mistake again. Cabin was filthy and they just tried to cover it with glade scent vaporizer. Towels and shower were disgusting. I wish I could say better about this place I really wanted it to be nice."
"The location was perfect and amazing stay. We enjoyed exploring the area and found plenty of great dining options nearby. Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing."
