Owners were quick to respond with any questions we had and very thoughtful; we had a late arrival and they had the lights on for us as well as a snack basket. "This a beautiful lodge with an amazing view and deck. Huge beams, glass window walls, a huge rock fireplace, large kitchen - very impressive. Unfortunately, it is not well kept up - fireplace is not useable; broken ice makers, fire alarms, outdoor lighting, etc. My family loves this lodge, our second visit, and did have a great Thanksgiving there in spite of the drawbacks. It just needs an investment in upkeep and TLC."

"The house was lovely and had everything we needed. We cooked many big meals and spent a lot of time relaxing. The hot tub was great, the property was beautiful next to the water. The beds were really comfortable. The host was very accommodating and kind and we had a wonderful experience! "

"We stayed in the Tyson Lodge. It is a camp style lodge with bunkbeds in all but one of the five rooms. It's nothing fancy but it's got what you need for a comfortable night. Be sure a take any food and or dishes you need because the lodge doesn't have a kitchen or any kind of dishes and its about 20 miles to town one way. Overall it worked great for us, four guys on motorcycles. Would definitely stay here again."
