“The Loft on Lake Laura is very welcoming…sparkling clean and comfortable. Updated with well appointed decor, relaxing furniture (sofa, two chairs, dining table with 4 chairs and a laundry room…which was a real plus)! We kept saying “they thought of everything!” The hosts were kind and helpful. We didn’t really have to buy or bring anything except food. The property has treetops and lake views. We spent time sightseeing and visiting with our family nearby and then we were so happy to come……

“What an amazing place to stay. The cabin was a lot more remote than we expected but the peace that we found was exactly what we needed. THE STARS! Omg the stars! Our first night was clear and we had never seen so many stars. Everything that we could have needed was provided, and the jukebox and games were so much fun! “This house was great for our girls weekend! A lot of bunk beds, but we did our best to make it work. Some of our group are older women and it was not safe for them to adventure to a top metal bunk bed, but we were aware of that when we booked. Not a negative, just something to consider. The lake is very "mushy" and not really swim worthy, but a nice view! The indoor pool is AMAZING! The host is wonderful, very responsive and understanding. “Stayed at the Perch for a long Holiday weekend. The area is mostly quiet. Jeannie the owner was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. The house was clean and well supplied. We did not have contact with the local care keeper, a couple messages were not returned. Perch lake is a very small lake, a pontoon ride around the lake would take 30 min. or less. “Lovely cabin- felt like we were up in the mountains. Plenty of private space and wooded area for the dog to run around. The host was great at communicating and answering any questions. The only thing to be aware of is the long two-track driveway that can be a little tricky in wet or snowy conditions. I would highly recommend and stay again! ”
