"A beautiful mix of luxury (indoor hot tub, huge bathroom, very comfortable bed, everything well-kept) and the outdoors (surrounding trees, no noise, deer in the yard). The friendly host gave a quick tour and food recs at check-in. I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in Mendocino!"

"My hisband and I had a wonderful stay at Virginia's place in Mendocino. The property was cozy, private and comfortable, a perfect retreat for us for our 3 night stay in town. We loved the proximity to town for dining out amd shopping (Trilliim restaurant was just around the corner) and enjoyed visits to the Headlands for morning and evening hikes. The views of the town and ocean from every room were phenomenal. The private garden was in full bloom with lots of great spits to enjoy the setting with a morning cup of coffee. It's truly a unique hard to come by place that offers both privacy yet close enough to all the amenities the town has to offer. We will definately be back, thank you Virginia!"

"My boyfriend and I came to Mendicino to relax and unwind from stressful jobs. I am a nurse and just the sound of the waves crashing was relaxing. The place was super comfortable, only add I could see being better would have been an outdoor hot tub."

"Crashing waves, location, location, location!! Relaxing, private studio cottage with gorgeous views. This visit we used the induction/hot plate for cooking breakfast. It was easy to use and provided another meal option which allowed for a romantic morning on the deck. Dan and Laura are gracious hosts with welcoming brandy and a special bottle of champagne in celebration of my husband’s 75th birthday ! Cypress Cove is magical and pet friendly too. We would give it 10 stars!! Thank you Dan and Laura, Fred, Eileen and Maggie"
