"My wife and I stayed recently and loved the home and enjoyed our time there. It rained most of the week of our stay, so we spent a lot of time relaxing on the screened porch - more of an outdoor room complete with fireplace. The host was responsive and great to work with. Be aware that a new home is being built in close proximity to this one, and although no work was going on during our stay (perhaps because of the weather) I imagine that noise from the construction could be an issue in the short term - check with the host. We are already talking about going back for another stay in the fall!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Timber Ridge in Mentone. The cabin is within walking distance to restaurants, Saturday farmers market & the Mentone market is next door. The cabin itself had everything we needed & plenty of space for winding down. It is a short drive to both DeSoto State Park/Falls & Little River Canyon preserve. You can enjoy a magnificent sunset at Brow Park which is a very short drive from the cabin. Thanks for sharing your home!"

"We had a wonderful stay in Mentone! The home was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The peaceful setting made it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the mountain scenery. Everything we needed was provided, and the host was responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"Valkyrie is a charming cabin deep in the woods. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The walk down to the river is nice and you can hear it from the deck. We enjoyed the grill and hot tub. An outdoor dining table would be a nice addition, but otherwise well furnished. Robert gave good, detailed directions to the cabin which were easy to follow. The cabin is only about 10 minutes to Desoto State Park where we enjoyed some nice trails and waterfalls. (Indian Falls, Laurel Falls and Lost Falls) Overall a great cabin for getting away from it all and enjoying nature, peace and quiet."

"Loved our stay at Moonflower! Perfect location. Sparkling clean. Lovely furnishings-- eclectic, tasteful mix of antiques and modern. Comfortable beds and fine linens. Long front porch with 4 rocking chairs face the amazing sunset at Brow Park. There is also a big back porch with comfortable furniture-- great for playing board games and reading, even when it rains. There are 2 Br and 2 full baths. The 2 bedrooms (each with an ensuite bathroom with shower/tub combo) are separated by an open concept living room well-stocked kitchen with high end finishes. Living room has a large fireplace with a huge TV over mantle. Best of all, the host Ben is delightful! So helpful, kind, friendly, accommodating. Hope to stay again!"
