"The menu breakfast was great we loved it"

"This hotel was the first stop we made when traveling from Canada. Unfortunately we only booked for one night however it was worth it! It was great to Uber from the airport and just spend our first evening in. We checked in, ate dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed the hydrotherapy amenities of the hotel. I booked this hotel specifically for the hydrotherapy knowing that after a long day's worth of travel it would be a great way to start our vacation. The only thing was we were not given towels when we went and assumed they were inside the pool area so we did not have a towel to dry off! Fun fact, you get your towel from the attendant at the desk who allows you out back to the change rooms. I went back again in the morning and my locker would not unlock, thankfully someone wearing clothing was able to walk to the desk and get someone to assist. The food at the hotel was good for supper but a little expensive for what we got. The breakfast however was amazing and worth getting up to enjoy! There is also a small Starbucks built into the hotel which means the hotel had good coffee for breakfast! Room and bed were comfortable however the shower was awkward and the floor gets very wet. As my partner was getting out of the shower I had wet feet and stepped on the towel to dry and when he was getting out the towel stuck to my foot and he slid into an awkward position which could be dangerous. Staff are super friendly and I would highly recommend visiting this hotel!"

"Check in was painful with the need to scan s Qr code and fill in a form when all our details are already on the system when we booked. No tea making facilities in rooms. Staff wete great but big queues due to mobile registration. What happens if there is someone who doesn't do mobile qr codes? "

"The room was spotless and my only gripe would be to have a larger bed, king size would be better but overall the room was fine. The music from the bar was so load we could hear it thudding until about 11pm, this has put me off staying here again."

"I had the worst experience dealing with “The pleasant house”. I travelled all the way from London to Manchester, just for them to tell me at check in they had no rooms available. There were no staff present, just a phone number on the outside door to call. I stayed outside the building for 5 hours trying to book other accommodation. These people also refused to give me a refund, I had to get my bank to do a chargeback, which was successful. Stay away from this hotel at all costs, they are scammers."

"Loved it!! Apart from the shower who had few red patches dirt on its walls (I had to clean myself) the rest was surprisingly ok. Will definitively come back!!! "
