The Space:

Las Lagunas is the largest and most modern area of Mijas, located next to Fuengirola on the Costa del Sol. It is a lively residential and commercial neighborhood where many locals and long-term residents live, making it a practical and well-connected place to stay.

Las Lagunas sits between Fuengirola and Mijas Costa, forming almost a continuous urban area with Fuengirola. This makes it very convenient for accessing nearby towns, beaches, and major roads such as the A-7 coastal highway, which connects Málaga and Marbella.

Unlike the traditional white village of Mijas Pueblo or the beach resort feel of La Cala, Las Lagunas is a busy, urban neighborhood. It has a strong local community and a multicultural atmosphere with Spanish and international shops and restaurants.
