"This was a great place to stay for Labor Day Weekend 2023! We stayed in Cabin #1, which was very clean and well taken care of. The owners of this property have thought of everything to make sure they provide the most comfortable stay for their quests. There is a BBQ grill with utensils, fully stocked kitchen with pots/pans/utensils etc... The beach with a private firepit was also awesome! This property is a must stay!! Thanks Al and Vicki...we hope to stay at your property again very soon!"

"We're from Georgia, and we were looking for a place that would have an eclipse rise at maximum coverage at sunrise. What better place than a lake? Well...the Great Lakes are very fickle beasts w.r.t. weather. Nevertheless, after numerous foggy mornings, we got a great view of what we wanted on the day that we needed. "We stayed off season and the weather could have been better. We had an issue with the door lock which could have been avoided if the key code had been texted or emailed instead of spoken over a poor connection. The cottage was clean and roomy. We stayed in the 1st floor bedroom which really needs a new mattress. The location is perfect for viewing Lake Huron without obstruction. Even with the windows closed you can hear the waves lap the shore."
