Sweett | Ariberto - Two Bedroom Apartment, Sleeps 6
Savor the vintage glamour of Milan in the Ariberto, a chic 2-bedroom vacation apartment in the artsy Navigli neighborhood. Medieval churches and city parks are all around you, not to mention one of the city’s prettiest sunsets. Check out the Roman ruins of the Archeological Park (5 min. walk) or the Leonardo da Vinci Museum of Science and Technology (7 min). Shop at the many antique shops, record stores, and flea markets all around you, then stop at one of the area’s many aperitivo bars for a classic Italian refresher. A bus stop and a light rail station are right outside.
Inspired by the historic building, our local designer has created a funky vintage vibe. Two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and even a bathtub will make you feel at home. Best of all -- the French doors in the living room lead out to a spacious outdoor terrace. Premium amenities include a Nespresso machine, free WiFi, cable TV, high-end toiletries, and hotel beds and linens.
Perfect for a family or group of friends, this apartment is sure to please travellers with an eye for style.
The art galleries and secondhand boutiques of the Navigli district are all around you, not to mention medieval churches, gorgeous city parks, and one of the city’s prettiest sunsets. Admire the Roman ruins of the Archeological Park (5 min. walk), then take in the latest scientific discoveries at the Leonardo da Vinci Museum of Science and Technology (7 min. walk). A bus stop and a light rail station are right outside your apartment, giving you easy access to the rest of the city.
Milan Linate is the closest airport to the city center (8 km away). It’s a small airport so you will only find close destinations (mostly Italy and Europe) and flights largely operated by national carriers such as Alitalia, Air France and Lufthansa. A few low-cost Easyjet flights do arrive here but not many.
Malpensa is Milan’s largest airport. It’s over 50 km from the city center and 40 km to Rho Fiera. It will definitely be your destination if you’re on a long-haul flight, and it’s also the hub of choice for several low-cost airlines including Wizzair, Easyjet and Vueling. It has two terminals; Terminal 2 is Easyjet and Wizz Air’s kingdom, Terminal 1 is for everything else.
This one isn’t actually in Milan! Bergamo airport is located 50 km east of Milan. However, it has become known as ‘Milan Bergamo’ thanks to low cost airlines (Ryanair first and foremost) that use it as their hub of choice. Tickets to Bergamo are usually cheaper than Linate or Malpensa, and good connections to the city make this airport a good choice, especially for budget travelers.
