“Location was great. Room was small but nice for a solo traveler staying for a couple of nights. The property/room was very clean and the seamless check in (receiving door codes via email) was fantastic. I had a garden view room which was perfect as I didn't have any street noise... save for some emergency vehicles. If your room overlooks Mass Ave you will have plenty of city noise. Pros:
- GREAT location; easy walk to Fenway.
- Beautiful building w/ nice modern clean interior.
Cons:
- Ownership utilizes a 3rd-party mgmt platform; this made me nervous, as I've had poor experiences in the past with a property listed on Hotels.com but using a 3rd-party platform for signatures and payments. During the aforementioned poor experience, Hotels.com reps initially told me that this was not allowed, and that I should make no payments off Hotels.com.……
