Perfect Beach Stay

No sleep!

Positives: The booking and check in were easy, the view was wonderful, the room was small but worked for two nights with two people. Negatives: ( we did not tell management any of this) elevator was incredibly slow and smelly. The hall carpets were worn and dirty. The absolute worst, the air conditioner was so very loud. When it came on it was like a jet engine. It kept us up for two nights. We booked three nights, but left after two. The AC worked great it was just ridiculously loud!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival, we noticed the kitchenette wasn't fully stocked as listed. We had one spoon, no forks and no bowls. No big deal. We got supplies at Publix. We weren't aware that there was going to be construction on the buildings. So, there was constant grinding noises during the day. Again, we just rolled with it and wore ear buds at the pool to block out the noise. What was most disturbing was seeing a construction worker outside our window on a platform when I was changing in the room. We were completely unaware that work was going to be occurring outside our suite. And what disappointed us the most was having our window blocked by blue plastic for several days of our vacation. We chose that suite based on the view. Had we known our view was going to be blocked, we would have booked elsewhere or gotten a cheaper condo that didn't promise a view. We completely understand that construction is often needed on condos. We were just really disappointed that we were never informed prior to booking and that no information was provided giving us a heads up that work would be performed directly outside our window.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were recommended this rental by a friend. When we first got into the room, the floor was still a little dirty, the bedside tables sticky from the previous guest and the shade for the window was broken. When I tried to lift the shade up to see the view, the large window was covered in greasy hand prints. I called the number given to me in the app and was able to request a work order. The girl on the phone said she could get maintenance but didn’t know if she could have the window cleaned because it was done through another group. Thankfully the work order was completed and the window was cleaned by that evening although it wasn’t a great way to start our experience getting there and finding things this way. The refrigerator handle was also broken and sharp, with jagged pieces sticking out. I wiped the tables down myself. Other than that, the bed was comfortable, the facility was nice and the pool was great. The beach is also nice but you MUST get there early to get a spot for your things. On either side of the beach entrance, there are private areas owned by other company’s that are either private or you must pay for an umbrella. People get down there at 7am to get the best spots. Just FYI.

Enjoyed the condo

We enjoyed the condo! It was clean, comfortable, & close to the beach. there was an odd blood looking stain on the pillow case, and the inflexibility of check out was annoying because of the flexibility with check in time (i.e. they say ur rental will be ready when it's ready but you HAVE to leave by 10am). the resort itself is nice, much bigger than we realized so walking places isn't a great option you'll need the tram or bike or rental car.

Beautiful property but poor communication

This property was like a tropical paradise. Luau was the perfect name. Clean, good location, and lots of amenities. BUT my wife and I quickly learned we could access NONE of the amenities when trying to catch the Tram to the Bay. We were told by the driver we needed our “green wrist band” or “key card”. We had neither! After searching our room, we attempted to contact property managers or anyone on site to help. NO RETURNED CALLS OR MESSAGES. So, long story short... make sure you have or know how to get your green wrist band to access everything from Tram, to pool, to private beach. We were unable to use any of these! We even got shewed down the beach because we didn’t have what we needed to sit in the private beach area. BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT! With so many rules in place for the property in terms of accessing amenities, it would be beneficial to have better communication from property management.

Great property

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean and nicely decorated. The kids were able to use the couch bed. Our favorite part was waking up to a beautiful view of the beach. We will be back soon.
