Such a great vacation spot!

The gated community that the Laui is in is so cute!! We had access to multiple pools, a restaurant in walking distance, and a private beach area! Our room even came with a few beach chairs that came in super handy! Me and my fiancé will definitely be staying here next vacation!

The property and location were excellent. Plenty of stuff to do and restaurants to choose from. We’re really bummed out that the pool was closed all but two days when we were there. That would’ve been nice to know before we booked but overall it was a great vacation and Sandestin and Miramar beach was wonderful.

Beautiful Studio!

Enjoyed every bit of our stay! Great location to the beach and restaurants. There was even some beach toys/supplies provided. Check in/out process was very simple. Most definitely can’t wait to take the rest of our family!

Clean & great location

The room was clean, air conditioner worked wonderful, and fully stocked with linens (extra even). The kitchenette had dinnerware and silverware. We used the beach chairs and umbrella provided. Getting into the resort was easy. Gate code, door code, and arrival instructions were provided in advance and seamless. Would recommend this to anyone and plan to return.

We had to go to another tower just to get use but other than that is was great. Everything was clean smelt great and beautiful room decor. The area is heaven on earth

The property was clean. It was 5 minutes from the beach. Communication was poor, several calls were made with questions but no return calls. Title was misleading, it states on a beach resort, but you don’t have access to any of the amenities offered.

Enjoyable

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Our only complaints would be we were on 11th floor and the elevator went out one evening so guests had to take the stairs. The other would be that there is no cable and our remotes didn't work to access Netflix that we did available to us. We had to find sports bars to go to in order to watch the sports we wanted to watch a couple of evenings.

The property description is accurate - a studio with a kitchenette and balcony with beach views. The property management team with My Vacation Haven was ready to help, though we didn’t need anything. Luau I 7105 is short walk to Sandestin beach, and not far from Baytowne Wharf and Grand Boulevard. We would absolutely recommend this unit to family and friends!

Pool was closed all but 2 days of our stay so that was a bummer as it would have been nice to know that a head of time. We had no idea we could take a bus to the other side of the gated community until a couple days into our stay. It would’ve been really nice. Had the room we were staying in had some sort of book of information about the resort and things to do around the resort. We managed to figure it out and it was a great vacation and we would definitely stay here again if we choose to come back to Destin, Florida.

First Visit to San Destin

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, very pleased with the room and rental experience. It felt newly decorated, clean, and a was a good place to relax. Air conditioning worked well. Was surprised, however, that the sliding glass door leading to the balcony would not open. Kitchenette was well-stocked with supplies and a working mini-fridge. Only inconvenience was having to get ice from the only ice machine located in a separate building (Luau II). Was disappointed that Luau guests were required to stay in the “general San Destin” section of the beach instead of having a designated beach section for Luau guests or full beach access. Would highly recommend Pompano Joe’s, Dewey Destin, and Surf Hut for great seafood with awesome beach/water views.

Cozy Place to Stay

The place was very cozy. The office location was a maze although it should not have been considering we were at the location with no written marquee of the business outside. Upon arrival, we were not made aware of the code for the beach equipment until 2 days later in an email. The description and pictures did not match the room. There was no balcony, but a ledge. No dishwasher and I agree with other customers' comments that the television could have been larger. There was no hot water for bathing. There was no attendee in the lobby our 4 day stay. Alex was very helpful with everything that we needed for our stay. However, the hot tub was nice! The design of the pool area and outside decor was beautiful. The bed was extremely comfortable. Parking area made me feel very safe. The landscaping was amazingly well kept. Beach distance was a plus.

Destin Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The experience overall was pretty good. The room was ample for us, and came with plenty of beach items, like chairs and an umbrella. The balcony was a little small and a tad scary. I was a little disappointed with the cleainess of both the bedding (hairs from someone who had just gotten a haircut) as well as the shower (the shower curtain had a lot of mildew on it).The facilities were great overall, and it was nice having a vending machine and a huge ice machine available. The pool area was really nice and i probably enjoyed it the most.The shuttle drivers were mostly great and helpful. We used the shuttle a lot, and even was picked up several times in golf carts in between shuttles, which was even better as they took us directly where we needed to go. I had family staying too far to walk, so this was really helpful.The Beach House restaurant was terrible, although there were plenty of other nearby options that were really great. The beach access was not too far and was also very nice.

Fantastic Location!

The room does not look like the pictures. It has different furniture and looks much darker, even with the curtains open. The room was not real dirty, but it definitely needed another wipe down. The shower was not clean. It has a dark ring around it showing v it hasn’t been cleaned well in awhile. Kinda gross. Fortunately, I brought wipes. 😉 The room was stocked with an umbrella and three beach chairs. The fridge was big enough for us to have breakfast as lunch items in it. The location is fantastic! It was such a short and easy walk to the beach. The room even has a bow off the beach. Overall, the place worked for us. It was simple and comfortable. Initially, someone has been responding to my texts, but then that person stopped responding. Maybe I asked too many questions??? Since I was traveling alone with my kid, I may have had more. Either way, we very much enjoyed our stay. We will be back…

Never again on the 4th of July

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The only customer service is via calling from the phone. There Is no desk or office that i could find for any type of help. I had to keep calling the number provided to get an answer for any questions. The customer service representative was polite and did her best to help but was not knowledgeable of the rules nor where everything was located on property. Later in the trip we found there is an app with maps and schedules which would have been great if we would have known earlier.They advertise that it is a short walk to the beach but they don't disclose that its an uphill walk back. If you have any kind of medical problems i would recommend to drive because their tram doesn't go up the hill for whatever reason.
