Short summer getaway

We enjoyed Miramar and its clear blue waters. The house was beautiful and had enough room for all of us. We definitely plan on coming back to visit.

Great stay for a family!

Our family of four loved our stay. The house was immaculate and Tina was incredibly accommodating when we wanted to extend our stay. The Emerald Shores community is perfect for families - two pools, tennis courts, basketball hoops, and a private pavilion on the beach. Highly recommend!!

We stayed here with another couple for 5 nights and it was perfect. Very clean and nicely decorated. It is a little walk to the beach but not too bad. The neighborhood also has a golf cart shuttle to the beach. Quick walk to Dollar General to get supplies. Would stay here again!

Fabulous find in a quaint neighborhood!

This cottage had plenty of space for my family of 4 plus my parents w/ an adequate amount of privacy & equiped w/ all you may need! The neighborhood itself is full of interesting homes & nice people. The beach is less than a 5 min walk but there is an 8 person golf cart that goes around all day picking up & dropping off. We loved every minute of it & regret not booking it longer but we'll def be back!

Fabulous House

Fabulous, spacious, modern house that was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our family of 4 for our week stay at the beach. Loved that we could grill on the patio in the evenings and eat outside. Lovely community of different size houses with two pools, tennis court and basketball hoop that our kids enjoyed. Only 10 min walk through the community to the Emerald Shores private beach. We had our own chairs etc for the beach but could have availed of an umbrella and two chairs if we needed. Beautiful, clean beach with toilet facilities and showers. Ate in the popular local beach bar Kenny D’s one eve - nothing fancy but good food and service - go early to avoid a wait. Also ate in Captain Dave’s - busy spot and good food but more expensive. There was a dollar general store right next door to the community that we could walk to for anything we needed which was very convenient. Enjoyed lovely walks up towards Destin and admired the amazing homes. Communication with the property manager was excellent and they contacted us during our stay to make sure all was ok. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this house - one of the nicest houses we’ve stayed in on vacation. So glad we found it as our previous host cancelled our Spring Break stay in another area of FL the day before we were due to leave. Thank you for a great stay.

The house was just adorable, had everything you need for the pool and the beach and in a great location, close to the beach! Communications with the owner about a couple of minor issues went extremely well, she was very quick to respond and incredibly accommodating! Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely house in a convenient location!

We enjoyed our stay! I would recommend it and come back again 100%. It had all we needed to be comfortable, enjoy the indoors, as well as outdoors playing tennis when the weather was not good for the beach! Great experience in a family friendly environment.

Beautiful community

The house and community was beautiful. The beach was a short distance and loved the pavillion. We rented gulf carts which made it a little easier to get all of our stuff to the beach. Overall it was a fun time.

Wonderful!

This was our second stay at this beautiful home. The first stay was wonderful and this stay was even better. The home has been updated and felt very luxurious. Tina and Ray were very nice and helpful as always. The house by itself is wonderful, and all the extras that are included such as the bikes, grill, and beach chairs made for a perfect trip. We can't wait for our next stay!

Beautiful house, perfect location!

I couldn't have asked for a better house! I typically stay in Destiny by the Sea but decided to switch it up this year since the last few houses we stayed at were nice on the outside but not great on the inside upon arrival. All of the decor and appliances were fantastic! Huge bonus to have the chairs/umbrella, beach toys, beach towels and wagon. The walk to the beach was easy and quick, even with 4 kids under 11. This is such a gem of a house and I will certainly be staying again.

We’re BACK

This was our second stay at this VRBO as a family of three generations including an almost 2 year old. The accommodations are endless and perfect location! Relax by the pool across the street or take the short walk to the beach and enjoy the provided chairs/umbrella. Kitchen will provide anything you need to cook with other than a few spices you can easily grab at the neighboring dollar general. Comfortable beds, beautiful upgrades, indoor and outdoor dining options, spacious master bath and walk in closet which offers a great space for the provided pack-n-play if you have little one. I truly cannot say enough positive remarks about this beach house!

Wonderful Ocean Getaway

My husband said this is the best VRBO we've stayed in and I agree. The house was beautiful and spacious. We had everything we needed for a relaxing, fun week. The bicycles were a great way to get to the beach quickly and we made use of the little wagon one day for carting things to the beach. We enjoyed the benefit of being able to get the beach chair/umbrella set up each day. The neighborhood the house is in was quiet and full of beautiful beach houses. The Dollar General store was like a block away if you needed anything. The Emerald shores were the most beautiful gulf waters and beaches we've seen and so calm the week we were there.

Communication with host was EXCELLENT which made the whole trip stress free. House is in a private and well monitored gated community. The tram (golf cart) was so nice going back and forth to the beach. It’s only a 5 minute walk but with a baby and the heat, it just made it nice to hop on that golf cart for ride. I enjoyed the layout of the bedrooms. They’re spread out nicely so all 3 bedrooms provide good privacy. The master is heaven!! King bed in there slept NICE!! I always struggle on holiday sleeping from old back injury but not this time! Closet on patio is full of equipment…wagon, pool and beach stuff like chairs, umbrella, anything you might want for the water. Rental comes with umbrella and two chairs daily. (that’s $50 day if you have to rent). We ended up renting more because we had our kids, their wives and baby but I really appreciated the included set. The bikes were AMAZING!! We all loved them and rode daily!! I can’t say enough good about this property. Furnishings all look new and well cared for and hosts obviously take pride in making sure guests have a great experience. I would definitely book this house again.

Spring break 23

Enjoyed our week stay in this beautiful home. More room than expected when looking at the pictures. The communication with Tina was amazing we had all of our codes and check in information prior to our check in. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone and we may stay again if available next year.
