“I agree with another reviewer who mentioned that the views are even better than the photos in the listing. The property is in a quiet area with a bus stop right out front for convenience. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed was comfortable. Overall, very happy with our stay and would book again.again”

“Beautiful views, a moments walk to a really great well stocked supermarket, right on the bus line for Capri, Anacapri or down to the harbour, 3 separate bedrooms and two bathrooms and coffee in the kitchen. Felt like a taste of being a local - everything was clean and well looked after. Outdoor seating areas were 5 star and even has a hot tub and sun lounge chairs. Great place for a group of adults or a family. ”

“This house was a perfect home base from which to explore the island. Francesco was very helpful, even arranging for a taxi to take us from the port to the house. It’s an easy walk to Ischia Ponte (if you don’t mind a couple of hills!), which has great restaurants and shops, and of course, Castle Arogonese. Easy bus or taxi access to see the rest of Ischia. We loved our stay at il Lauro Villa and would definitely stay here again!”

“The pictures, incredible as they are, don't do this place justice! Staying here is having your own private, welll-cared for, exotic ocean-font retreat.Between the infinity pool and hot tub both overlooking the ocean, we could have never left the property and had a fantastic and satisfying time on our first trip to the island of Ischia, but one of the other best parts of this listing, is precisely its location on this delightful island.While here, definitely rent a smart car or scooter, or……

“Beautiful accommodations, many outdoor areas and spectacular vistas. A big Thank You! to the hosts for sharing their property with us. Every time we did a day trip, we were so happy to come back home to the clean, quiet and comfortable villa. If you are in reasonable shape, a car is not required. There is a trail near the house that will take you to the village for stores and restaurants ( bit difficult to find, watch for a set of stairs about 50 meters up the road. Check-in was reasonably easy……
