「We had a great two day stay at the Shadowland River Lodge. We wished it was longer. The hosts, Jason and Nicole greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour with quick easy intructions of the property. They also gave us historical insight of the cottage which made us appreciate the nostalgic atmosphere even more. This is truly a relax and unwind cabin with amazing views both inside and outside. 「This secret hideaway is perfect! Remote and relaxing. Games, jukebox and pinball machine were tons of fun and were perfect for a night without tv or phones. John, the host, was fantastic. Would highly recommend 」

I picked this place because I’m not much of a tent or non-electric/bug-filled cabin type, and this was the perfect amount of rustic for us. The shower water pressure was good too!The owners were helpful and friendly when needed. They live next door.
