“VarennaHolidays staff were very helpful and responsive. Lines of communication were always open, and we felt very confident and supported throughout the whole process. The property was lovely-- great views, very good location, excellent restaurants nearby, close to waterfront and the ferry. The number of steep steps came as a little bit of a surprise.”

“Das Haus liegt in mitten einer malerischen Berglandschaft, fernab von öffentlichen Straßen und Massentourismus. Wer die Ruhe sucht, wird hier fündig. Selbst bei schlechtem Wetter ist das Haus einfach perfekt, da man es sich vor dem Kamin oder am Lagerfeuer gemütlich machen kann und einfach das Alleinsein genießen kann. ”

“Loved it and can’t wait to return! The view is gorgeous—amazing sunsets and, in the morning, Varenna is lit up by the sun. The patio is also right next to an old waterfall/fountain ruin type of thing that is lit up at night and it’s stunning. The inside of the apartment is also fantastic and we loved the very large bathtub and the rain shower heads. A few things to know—it IS the penthouse so there are quite a bit of outside stairs to get to the apartment. It wasn’t really a problem for us but……

“The property was lovely. The view to Lake Como was spectacular. The hosts live next door and were very attentive without being disruptive. The only negative I can mention is that we used the kitchen to cook a meal and there were no essentials like salt/pepper/olive oil - most other VRBOs we have stayed at have those available. But we did have 4 delicious fresh eggs when we arrived and the hosts provided a mini happy hour with appetizers and wine on our first night. Overall a definite 5……

“3-stöckiges Ferienhaus, das fast keine Wünsche offen lässt. Schöne Location im Verzasca Tal in unmittelbarer Nähe vieler Wanderwege. Gut erreichbar mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Voll eingerichtete Küche und Essbereich lädt zum entspannten Zusammenkommen ein. Terrasse v.a. bei schönem Wetter sehr gemütlich. Sehr sauber. Bad etwas klein. Direkte, unkomplizierte Kommunikation mit Vermietern hilft bei der Klärung von Problemen und Fragen.”
