Great place to stay in Moffat's main street. I had a single room with spacious bathroom, kettle with coffee/tea, biscuits and milk in a fridge with bottled water and cola. Comfortable bed and all spotlessly clean. Friendly bar with nice varied menu plus good breakfast. Loads of parking outside. Really enjoyed my stay.

Easy to find. Parking free and close to the hotel. Staff friendly and welcoming. Room was more of a suite than a room! Bed very comfortable so a really good place to stay. We were not bothered by poor reception for TV but this could be a concern for others. We enjoyed walking round the town and the inhouse meal rounded off our stay very nicely.

I stayed the night of June 4th 2026. I have stayed at the property before and have had a double room. This time I had a single room which was competitively priced. The room was comfortable but faces out onto the back courtyard. The main issues leading to it only getting three stars is the floor slopes so there is a wedge of light at the bottom of the door. In addition the bed is very creaky which led to a very disturbed nights sleep. However everything else was fine including the breakfast. I shall ask not to stay in Room 9 in future.
